For a moment, her mind turned to getting out of the clearing before he saw her, but then she realized the right thing to do would be to apologize. Well, if he isn't too smug about it, I should be fine. Forestpelt thought, with a shrug. The she cat padded over towards him, limping a little herself, which was mainly the result of her trying to find the best way to walk evenly. "Hey...Foxspring, I...well, I..." Forestpelt's voice trailed off and she looked away from him a little awkwardly. Why was this so hard for her? It shouldn't be...right? "Look, I owe you an apology. Okay? So I guess I'm saying I'm sorry. For accusing you of being a traitor. I had no right to do that." Forestpelt mewed, her tone slightly harsher than it should have been, but at least she was trying. Trying to make it right between her and Foxspring...surely he would be able to see that. Maybe. If he wasn't going to try and be stubborn. If he does, I can be just as stubborn. More stubborn, probably...he'll find out just how much if he bothers me. Forestpelt thought, with a sharp twitch of her tail as she waited for Foxspring's reaction.
Redflight could see Jaguarclaw lying in the clearing. For a moment, the she cat considered going over to him, and then she shrugged. He was probably fine. Besides, even if he wasn't, it was none of her concern. Still, a nagging force began to pull at him, trying to tell her to go over and check on him. Pfft, it's none of my business. If he's not some sort of jerk, he'll have friends. Obviously. Redflight thought with a snort. With a shrug, the russet she cat padded over to Jaguarclaw, looking down at him with a semi-sarcastic expression. A strange smile was on her maw, and she looked a little weird as she glanced down at him. "What happened to you?" She asked. Her tone was sharper then most cats would have been when inquiring about another cat's health, but she wasn't exactly like other cats. Redflight had prided herself on her tone, she thought it sounded...different. It separated her from the usual, friendly tone that cats generally used. She waited for the tom's reply, her expression a little bored as though she had somewhere better to be, although in reality she really didn't. Redflight rarely had something better to do, or somewhere better to be. Redflight's green gold hues glanced away from him and she turned her gaze in any other direction. Sometimes it was hard for her to keep eye contact for a long period of time.

Foxspring was just tucking his paws under his chest when Forestpelt padded up. Not more sympathy, he thought bitterly. He hated being hurt and unable to do anything. He'd much rather be dead than having to deal with all this. His yellow hues met her green ones without emotion. He didn't know what to think of Forestpelt anymore, no matter if they had fought together in battle. The idea that someone doubted him was outrageous. At her apology, he merely grunted again, his gaze unwavering. He hadn't ever warmed up to the feline and after that move in the battle, he wasn't sure he would. "Sorry doesn't fix everything," he murmured without a hesitation. Although before she could say some sharp remark, he continued. "What's done is done and nothing's forgotten," he spoke with a sharp tone. His head finally shifted away from the feline and he began to lick his chest the best he could. It was the area that caused him the most pain, partially from the the claws that had sunk into his skin from the at traitor his clan calls a warrior.
Jaguarclaw was quick to lift his head and his olive gaze bore into the she-cat approaching him. Great. perhaps he should sulk in his own nest? Or with Marbledface? The feeling that he seemed weak wasn't worth the attention that it brought. At her tone, his gaze narrowed. How dare she. Probably a Dark Forest follower by the sounds of it. He simply flicked his tail. The dullness in his gaze sharpened into something irritable. Normally he'd never act like this towards a she-cat, but he couldn't stop himself this time. "It's not your concern and by the looks of it, you really don't care. Why don't you bug off if I'm boring you so much? I didn't ask for you to come over here, you know," he spoke quickly, although he regretted each and every word the moment after he finished speaking. The warriors in Shadowclan weren't in the best condition after the fight and certainly their trust in each other needed to build again before any sort of aggression went away. Although it was Shadowclan. Not a lot of cats were friendly here. The Bengal turned his gaze away immediately, looking somewhere else into the clearing as if he were trying to ignore Redflight now. It wasn't worth apologizing to a cat like this and he knew that all too well. She'd simply use it against him or what not.
