"Yes," she said quietly, as a way of acknowledging the offer. She wasn't even worried about Amber walking in at this point-- she was exhausted. Her little Bit-form rested on Chris' chest, just beneath his chin.

Chris laid there, staring at the roof. He didn't say a word, just let Skye-Bit sleep. She must be worn out, I'll let her have her beauty rest. He smiled, and tried not to fall asleep. He couldn't stay up for long and fell asleep as well.
