The crisp air allowing scents to transfer neatly into her nostrils, the smaller she-cat had located a bird of some kind, she didn't really know types, pecking at the berries that appeared to have fallen from a bush. Sliding forward with her body low and paws quiet, she gained enough distance on the bird, which was quite intent on eating, to risk a charge, since the cover ended and crunchy leaves began. The bird had spotted her, and it began flapping frantically but she managed to close the distance quickly enough, pushing off strongly with her hind legs and managing to grasp it, pulling it down to earth and killing it quickly. @
