Skye broke down crying, clutching him tightly. She took ragged breaths, and tried to get a hold of herself. She didn't want to think about it either-- but the threat was real. "Chris, don't let them take me--" she eventually managed to say between sobs. "I don't wanna go back, and I don't want you to go either--!" She didn't want to move, or lift her head. She was scared that if she looked out the window, she'd see the soldiers coming for them. She was an ISO, perpetually hunted. And now, the fear was becoming more real to her than it had ever been.
