Appearance Description: Grey tom with a brown overcoat, gold and black undercoat, white stripes, and black speckles on the back of his head and neck. His front legs are bigger than his back legs and he has amber eyes, a stubby tail, and a small number of scars.

Personality Description: Quailpaw is definitely a troublemaker. A bit aloof, he doesn't have many friends, instead choosing to rebel on his own. He follows the teachings of Blackhaze and isn't afraid to get his paws dirty or stir the pot to create change. His heart is in the right place, but he is often unsure of how to go about it and lacks directions in his life.

Backstory: Quail was born to two loving parents in a group of rogues living near ShadowClan territory. Sadly, disaster struck after a group of dogs attacked his family, killing his parents, friends, and siblings and wounding him in the process. Thankfully, he escaped with only a few scratches, as he hid in a bramble bush while the attack happened. After that, he spent a few weeks wandering around in ShadowClan territory until a she-cat found him. This she-cat would go on to act as his mother figure. In the nursery, Quailkit had trouble making friends and preferred to stay on his own with his adoptive mother, who had older kits about to leave the nursery.
As an apprentice, Quailpaw was apprenticed to an Icestar/Dawnstar loyalist who believed the only way to live would have been to follow the leader's rule absolutely. He was almost indoctrinated into this belief before he began listening to Blackhaze. He learned that doing the right thing was more important than blindly following a leader, and took in the idea that making change was something a cat has to do at all costs. After Blackhaze's death, he still carries on his legacy, working as hard as he can to undermine Dawnstar's leadership while still staying beneath the radar.
