Deadpool had an automatic urge to stick out a forepaw and keep the little bomb at least a tail length away from her at all times. But that would be too mean, even for her. So she just took his little hug, ignoring the natural urge to simply purr about it, and listen to him as he went on about the leader.
"Think I happer Leader fed clan before Leader-self." Deadpool answered, finding it a little cute that the apprentice was so devoted to his mentor. She felt it was hard to form mentor and apprentice bonds as strong as the one Twilightstar had with Pestpaw. Maybe it was because they already thought of each other as family?
"No, bad Pestpaw. Rude." Deadpool scolded the tom as he waved a paw in her face suddenly, making her want to jump back, not expecting it. "No worry me not. Hunt doing." She responded, turning her attention back to her surroundings. The chimera didn't think she'd lose the apprentice since he was so loud and chatty. The she-cat's eyes honed in on a small rabbit near a bush, it wasn't hard to sneak up on it and spring. It looked like a young thing, a bit scrawny but prey was prey.
"Talk less, hunt more." Deadpool urged Pestpaw as she padded back over to the apprentice and dropped her rabbit by his catch.

Ok. So Twiggy would most like that he fed the clan before her! Got it! "Thank you Deafloops! I shall feed the clan before Twiggy gets food!" It was really helpful and nice of her to do it! Woop, woop, woop But then Deafloops didn't like the waving paw, and well... that was one similarity between Deafloops and Twiggy! Neither liked to have a paw in their face. Stagpaw would be sure to note that whenever he was determined to annoy the leader. It was no longer just a her-thing but something other cats reacted too as well... he didn't know HOW to use it but like, he would. Somehow. To an extent of stupid.

Ok. Hunt! He could do that! Somewhat, like he'd already caught one mouse and all so he was on a great track! Or at least he believed that. Watching as Deafloops found the rabbit though and then caught it! As she caught he clapped his paws and smiled brightly and then found his own little mouse and came over and dropped it directly on top of her rabbit... He needed to catch something more. What could he catch?

"Deafloop? Can you show me how to catch birds?"
