He then took some of what was on the stick and then put a little where the crack was. He put a little more each time it smoothed itself out until there was no more tree sap was gone and the crack was fixed in a way. There was still a slight bit that Mori couldn't get to, but it was extremely small.
(don't you dare make anything happen to that tiny bit because i know it wouldn't break more if it's that tiny; just logic--)
