SKILLS/ABILITIES: Crowholly has an unusual knack for assessing the personalities, desires, fears, and secrets of other cats...without ever really knowing them. Crowholly essentially practices a form of divination--she has the ability to make assumptions about a cat based on things like patterns of tabby stripes, preferred prey choice, eye color, white markings or lack thereof, and the pattern of scars. For example, Crowholly believes that cats with white forepaws are inherently pure hearted, or that cats with scars on their chests are hiding secrets, amber-eyed cats tend to be ambitious, marbled tabbies tend to be in tune with StarClan, etc.. Crowholly developed this ability as a kit, essentially by watching her clanmates and making connections between their lives and these minute traits. The surprising thing, is while many of her clanmates discredit this skill, her observations almost always prove to be accurate, but her divination based judgments can be wrong, and can lead her to misrepresent or wrongly judge other cats.

PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Introverted, standoffish, and highly perceptive, Crowholly doesn't present herself as exceedingly friendly, but once she befriends a cat, she exhibits a devout loyalty that she inherited from her late mother. Crowholly has a tendency to be sarcastic, and if she is offended, will often use very covert insults (ie, "it was so brave of you to return to camp for help instead of facing that rogue yourself"). She can be quite judgmental, both good and bad. She often uses her predictions to justify dramatic assessments of character (most often, however, they are correct). She is highly observant, and perceives details at an extremely minute level. She is very spiritual, and believes deeply in the power of StarClan. She also has an adept memory, and can remember details of past events and conversations from kithood. Despite sometimes coming across as critical or even paranoid superstitious, Crowholly is deeply loyal, and strives to use her predictions to help others see calamity before it happens. Crowholly is asexual, and doesn't really experience romantic attraction, but has a very strong sense of friendship with those she trusts and respects. She is unusually good with kits, and uses her vivid imagination to relate to them.

HISTORY: Crowholly never knew her father, but always had a profound bond with her mother, Marshwillow. Crowholly was always different, capable of perceiving minute details about the world around her that her peers meerly overlooked. Her mother always encouraged her unusual mannerisms, and when Marshwillow was killed in a dog attack, Crowholly's abilities intensified. In an effort to honor Marshwillow and her encouragement, Crowholly devoted herself to essentially building a prediction lexicon. Following Marshwillow's death, Crowholly often sees her mother in visions (the writer can represent these as delusions or StarClan visitations however they see fit).
