Max woke up to a crying queen. She smelled of milk, and then he smelled the 2 dead kits. He came out of his den, and sat down next to her. "I'm sorry." He murmured, knowing of her dead kits. "But can you help me please? I have 4, two day old tomkits inside that monster foot over there, and they are starving and motherless, could you maybe help me feed them and care for them?" he asked. "I'm Max by the way." He added.

Peach looked up, seeing the father pad over to her. The molly hadn't expected hi to ask her that, but she was more willing to help. She padded over to them and curled right around them. it took her a while to adjust, but soon she was purring up a storm. She was still sad about her kits, but these kits needed her and she wouldn't make the same mistake twice. Finally realizing she hadn't told him her name she felt bad. "My name's Peach. Your kits are so lovely.", she responded.
