Cosmo nodded. Trust was something very hard to get and very easy to break, so you always had to be super careful with who you trust.. which is why Cosmo would make sure to be a bit more.. careful with this cat.
"I know right? I've never really cared for anyone else but my humans and even then I keep my distance from them. So having to take care of a whole group of cats would not sit right with me." He made sure to leave out Marble as that was a bit more personal but other then that Cosmo looked primarily out for himself.
"Cosmo." He replied. Ruby was a nice name. There was a Rudy he knew from the city but not a Ruby. Maybe he could get to trust this molly, but it wouldn't be easy. For him or her.
Cosmo began to wonder why the cats got more feral the more you went into the forest. He had never thought about it but Ruby bringing it up again made him wonder what was going on out there. "You know, I wonder what happens out there in the forest. Back in my town up there all the house cats are pretty friendly, but I don't know if you've seen the city. But it is a free for all out there. Sure there are some good strays in there, but that mess of a place is full of backstabbers. Still, its pretty fun.. Anyway, the forest. I've ventured deep into there a few times and each time was weird... and dangerous. There are so many strays, and they hunt in groups and mark a lot of the territory. I remember smelling them all around but there were only 4 distinct scents. You ever been deep in there Ruby?"
