She could already tell, either this tom was going to annoy her or try and fight. She breathed an irritated sigh. Her sharp green eyes pinned him, and she wouldn’t quit it.
“Who are you, anyways?” Cinnamon inquired.

The tom let out an airy chuckle, noticing how quickly the molly's demeanor changed around him. Chief was used to it - he could come off as more abrasive to others at times. "No, I mean it. Sincerely. That was a pretty good catch." His tone held no sarcasm, only notes of a genuinely proud bystander. But then a smirk crawled it's way onto his face, and his eyes flashed. "...For a house cat." Lifting his chin, the tom leveled his gaze at Cinnamon. "What brings the likes of you out here anyways? I'm genuinely curious." And he was. For the most part, house cats didn't stray too far from the security of their upwalkers.

Chief was awaiting a response when his ears swiveled around, catching what sounded like a howl. To most, it might make their blood run cold, but to Chief it was the call of adventure. Turning from his conversation, tossing it aside like a rotten piece of prey, he padded forward a bit, cocking his head to one side to get a better handle on what the source was. "Sure, sweetheart. Why don't you lead the way?" This was amusing. Let's see this scaredy-cat play follow-the-leader. He watched Ida with flickering yellow eyes before turning to where he'd heard the sound. "I think I heard it coming from up there," the tom pointed with his tail towards a rather dark line of trees up ahead past yet another worn down building.
