Default Re: Worm Your Way to Success [ RC Tunnel Hunting Competition ]

It seemed Gingerfrost's prejudgement was starting to prove itself right. Hunting in the tunnels... He still didn't quite like it for now. The ginger furred tom went threw the different passages and ways, until he eventually.. Yes, scented a mouse. He crouched and crept forward, quickly spotting the little creature - well then, it was time to actually try catching something in the enclosed space. At least the mouse could only go two directions: either towards him- unlikely- or away from him in the event it spotted him. But surprisingly, the rodent didn't notice him until the last moment, which was already to late. Gingerfrost without much trouble caught the mouse. Perhaps.. It wasn't as terrible as he thought it'd be? Oh well. With the mouse caught, although small, the young warrior started padding back to the old camp where he dropped it off and the first addition to his pile-to-be, before he went back inside towards a sound he'd heard.

Although Primrosepaw often despised hearing many voices around her- especially when those said voices are raised- this time the little molly actually kind of enjoyed hearing the small babbling around her. It was all soft and not that many were speaking... And it gave off good vibes! Unlike when commanding voice two was yelling all his words about sugar and whowasitagain. Primrosepaw just simply waddled around a little, stopping a moment to decide where to go when paw steps approached. Her ears twitched and she listened to the sudden voice - It was... It was... Eel..? Yes- Eel! It was Eel! not the fish - the voice. Primrose plopped down, processing the Eel's words. It was.. A little complicated, but she eventually understood that they wanted to stay with her? Or that she had to stay with them? It came down to the same thing. So.. She would stay, with them, during whatever was happening.

Then.. Commanding voice two yelled something and she was called by Eel. They had to go somewhere? The apprentice got up and tilted theiur head, a bit confused, but strangely enough kind of amused too. She felt something over her shoulders which did help in terms of going the right direction. She just... Had to make sure that whatever that was remained in the exact same place. Yes. Something faintly changed in the air and at the little pat pat- and knowing what 'sit' meant- Primrosepaw did exactly that. She sat down and faintly frowned at what the other was telling her. She had no clue what they meant by 'hunt' and 'watch' but she had to.. Make sure of something? She understood that in the wide view of things, but if anything she'd figure it out eventually. The tiny she simply didn't budge and waited for something to happen while Eel was doing what they were doing.

And something did happen. Strange squeaky noises approach, sounding as if they were at her paws; and perhaps they were, as sharp discomfort was felt exactly there by the small bite of one of the creatures. Primrose let a tiny yelp as she lifted the said paw and shook it right when Eel's voice rang. Dance? Dance... She knew that. That was like in her dreams! But that was fun and this wasn't but maybe dancing would make it fun? She'd try. Primrosepaw did as instructed and a pouty face started to lift her paws and jump and skip around just like when she was dancing. That didn't stop another few bites from being felt though and she didn't like that feeling at all - no, no, no... But at least the squeaky noises got less eventually until she accidentally jump right on one of the rats, slipping over it but also effectively squishing it in the process. Primrosepaw scrambled up- not quite noticing the two rat bodies- and gave a lick to her front paw where the first rat bit. Dumdum squeaky noises. She wasn't quite sure how to answer Eelpaw's question when asked, so remained silent and just like that it seemed they were off again.
