Twigkit paused for a moment. This kit seemed helpless. But... It was weak. And Frogpaw said they needed to kill off the weak, right? For just a moment she met eye contact with this helpless kit. She could see the fear in his eyes. She didn't know what to do, as time felt to slow down. This was a helpless kit, just like her. Just like how she felt when she was abandoned, alone, afraid, and scared. She turned around at Frogpaw, hoping for any signal to stop. But if he motioned to keep going Twigkit would have to push through.
