Thunderstorm was chasing his brother and sister around. He was the smallest, but he had the biggest paws so he knew one day he'd be the biggest. Minnow and Bramble were bigger for now, but Thunderstorm was still stronger. His tiny body held a lot of potential.

Bramble kept running from Thunderstorm. He was faster because he had longer legs and smaller paws. He stuck his tail up high so that Thunderstorm couldn't grab it and trip him.

Minnow was right next to Bramble, but she was slower due to her slightly larger size, and her long fur that was clotting dirt. She stumbled, and Thunderstorm pounced on her. With a squeak, the 2 kits kept tussling. Bramble slowed down and looked to Tawney to play with him. 'Play with me!" He squeaked and leapt at her.
