Quetzal flinched at Meztli or whatever she said her name was said hello. She found herself not able to get up for a reason she could not figure out, so she awkwardly replied, "Um, He. I mean Hi." internally scolding herself for messing up the word 'hi' somehow, she continued speaking. "I'm Quetzal. Nice to meet you, I guess." Why is she even talking to me? She glanced down at her paws for a moment, unsure of what else to say.
