Fawnbriar trotted back into camp, dirt still clinging to her brown fur from their expedition into the tunnels. She blinked in surprise, seeing the entire camp in uproar.

"Breezefeather?" she asked, fear tinting her voice, as she looked back behind her for the deputy who had led her patrol. Then she remembered he'd split away from them to go speak with Dawnstar. But now Dawnstar was in the camp, and Coldamber in Twi's spot. Where was Breezefeather? Had Dawnstar done something...? No, she wouldn't dare.

Staying composed, she sat at the edge of the crowd, just as Hallowstep cried out. She flinched a little. Should they have stayed in camp? Maybe that would've prevented all of this chaos. She wished everyone would calm down. They couldn't afford to show Dawnstar fear. "We all know why she's here," she said to Hallowstep. There wasn't any other reason. Danwstar had to know where Twilightstar was, or what had happened to her.
