"And you seem... eerie than the others," she in return responded. He looked strange. He was by no means as pretty... was by no means as large or strong as their leader or deputy. He was just... strange. And Birdkit had a struggle comprehending that. Cats were not usually strange, that was reserved for the stars. Cats were weak, strong, fragile, unbreakable... and Birdkit were the negatives in those words. This cat... he seemed strong, but... strange.
"Is there, a strength in your," what was the correct word?
"Eerieness? You are different than many others I've ran into."
Put up a strong front. Stop being so hesitant... she needed to learn how to adapt properly. Asking these kind, genuine questions were not going to get her anywhere. They wouldn't make her strong and they would not help her in the future but every time she tried... she failed.

The white and brown molly had been sitting and gotten caught observing once again. She needed to stop observing everything and to start actually doing something. Something that was not... not doing whatever. Shaking her head, Birdkit stood up and once again scanned the clearing. Maybe this time she could learn to be strong thanks to someone else? Someone who would teach her how to not get herself killed under Dawnstar's leadership but also someone who could match the strength of their leader. Despite her fragile body, despite her fragile name and mental state, Birdkit hated being weak. Too pretty... too fragile... too little. She was all of those things but at the same time she was none of those things. She would be strong, brutal, cold and calculating... if she got around to it.
So spotting a cat that seemed at least to Birdkit, far larger than her, she decided that it would be worth a try at least. Moving on over, Birdkit quickly and hastily folded her tail over her paws as she sat, before realizing that.. that was too formal. If she was going to become strong and cold, she shouldn't care what others thought about her, so she quickly unfolded her tail.
"Hello. I'm Birdkit." Her voice was still... too timid. Too weak.
