Her words darkened, but she brushed the thoughts away, refusing to show weakness. Maybe Rushingmoor was right, and they just had to deal with it for now. But for how long?

"If you're not here to gloat, what are you doing? Are you simply here for amusement?" she questioned. This cat seemed to feel sorry for the WindClan cats, and Fawnbriar wasn't sure how she felt about that. After all, she was quite the proud cat.

This Windclan cat was interesting... Doetuft couldn't exactly remember when she'd spoken to a Windclan cat, so it was something new at least. And it seemed the cat was being more... accepting? Something like that had she been able to pick up in the tone of voice of the other molly to her side. "Our leader... is... special I'll admit. But... that does not mean... everyone agrees with everything and all... that she does. The killing...of a clan's... youth is... not a right thing... but that doesn't... mean Dawnstar didn't... have a reason to do... such a thing." The leader always had a reason. Be it right or wrong, there was a reason and Doetuft was stuck in the feeling of needing to defend Shadowclan simply to save her hide from Dawnstar's wrath but also to tell the truth and stay right to her morals.
