Re: ThunderClan Clearing
➳ Sunchaser Muscles relaxing as Sunpoppy didn't show any signs of getting up and leaving him behind again, a small chuckle escaped the golden tabby. Was that how he was known? Sure, he didn't get into as many... "adventures" as Sunpoppy or Hareflood or some of the other daring ThunderClanners did, but he still had regular old adventures. "Hey, I can break the rules," he fired back in a playful tone, a daring gleam flickering across his expression as one brow kinked up. "I was thinking of taking a stroll out by the creek later." He wasn't; but Sunpoppy didn't have to know that.
Perhaps that's what he needed to do. Something crazy, something wild... Tip toeing on the edge of obscurity had been extremely boring as of late, though he pondered if his anxiety would even allow him to step away from it. It was nice not being given attention. In his mind, attention meant the discovery of how deep his romantic idolizations ran, who specifically they ran to - and that just couldn't be discovered by anyone.
A blush filled Sunchaser's cheeks as his friend saw fit to pick out his response to Hareflood's recent spotting. "N-No that's okay. Really. He's not my type," he tried to joke, though it came out a bit more stiff than carefree. He was pretty sure Hareflood would more than likely feed him to the coyotes than have an actual conversation, and besides the feat of approaching him to even start a conversation seemed rather daunting. A big, strong, daring tom like him...
Recovering from the pointed joke during the pitiful silence that befell him and Sunpoppy, he let out a cough. "He'll be lucky if I even train him in anything," he remarked honestly, his shoulders moving up and down in an indifferent shrug. The last thing he wanted to do was spend his days with a babbling baby, taking away from the time he could be spending searching for the ever illusive love. Glancing in his friend's direction, he kinked an eyebrow. "Maybe our first session will be in Sunkissed Creek."
It was meant as a joke, but the thought lingered in Sunchaser's mind. Putting the new apprentice in a dangerous situation such as being coyote bait would solve his problem of being a mentor. He imagined that they would burst through, fangs dripping, in the middle of Fizzlepaw practicing his crouch. With one chomp, away he would go leaving Sunchaser free of any duty or ties to actually having to do warrior duties.
He couldn't lie to himself; the thought alone was tempting.
