I'm sure they will! Pit purred, deciding to not comment on the siblings bit. He was fairly certain that Nala wouldn't allow them to get that close, but then again he hadn't expected her to let the young tom he met earlier stay with them either. She was always surprising him, and he liked it. Seeing Mouse pick up the two toms, he reached down to pick up the small she-cat. She had the same milky scent as his own, and he was glad he had found them and not a nasty cat. He would have to come back for den materials later. For today, the most important thing was a bit of a roof to keep the kits safe. He turned, and began heading back to the barrel.
Placing the she-kit down a few steps from it, he padded up to the mouth of the barrel. Nala seemed to be a bit more alert, so he called softly
I met a she-cat and her kits while I was getting den materials. Do you think they could stay with us for a while? They don't have anywhere else to go, and its cold for kits to be out at night. @
