Bouncepaw listened again, his mind was racing with so many thoughts and emotions- and honestly wasn't sure what to feel? He was curious for sure- and...it was MORE than tempting to get stronger.

Okay. So the other baby was willing to learn from her? What... what was she supposed to do now? She'd only watched this moment happen between apprentices and mentors and then... then the mentors kind of just disappeared and went out into the territory where she kind of wasn't allowed to go. So Birdkit wasn't entirely sure what to do with herself outside of try to make up some brilliant lies. She knew... she knew the stars would not be happy with her for lying. And she felt so horrible at the thought of betraying them. She didn't want to betray the stars. It was a horrible feeling of guilt that it left in her stomach at the simple thought.
