As Eveningmist finished speaking, she briefly gazed around the clearing, unsure of what to do next. As she looked around, a small movement caught her eye. Light blue eyes focusing on it, she recognized it as a kits tail, poking out from behind a rock. And where there was a tail, there was a cat, with this one most likely hiding from a friend or littermate in a game of hide and seek. A small smile formed on her muzzle as she started padding over, chuckling softly to herself. As she approached the rock and looked behind it, she was able to match a name to the tail. Shadowkit, a blind little tom, was pressed against the rock ¨Excuse me, little one, but what are you doing? If you are playing a game with some friends, I would be happy to help you hide¨ the huge deputy purred, keeping her voice low as to not bring attention to them.

Shadowkit jumped. He hadn't realized Eveningmist had finished talking, and walked over to him. "Uhh... I wans't I was just... watching, well, listening to you." He stammered. "I think its so cool how you're deputy." He mewed shyly.
