Without hesitation, the gray tom dabbles the soaked moss over the apprentice's wound to clean away the blood and debris.

He'd been out on a fruitless search until then, padding into the den to find another warrior mostly out of it in one of the nests. Rainywhisker retains a swear, lashing his tail and bustling quicker further into the den to fetch some cobwebs. Without Frostpaw, juggling the entire Clan on his own would be rough. He needed to find the time to discuss the matter at-paw with Buckstar soon. Returning to Ebonyfrost, he sets the small bundle of webbing down and first reaches for a bit of moss. It had become his first go-to for cleaning, as tongues were rougher and the tom preferred to keep an eye on his patient as he cleaned them, to make sure they were doing alright.
Taking the soaked moss in paw, he runs it over her wounds. "What happened?" he questions.

Cringing as Rainywhisker touched the wound, Ebonyfrost let out a muffled cry.
"It hurts..." she whined, only then remembering that Rainywhisker was only here to make her better, not worse.
"It was a coyote. I'm sure you remember that battle. I was trying to scratch it when it pick me up and shook me hard. After that I only remember the feeling of being of being flung somewhere and waking up at the shelter." she said. She felt the feeling of jaws being clamped around her and the foul smell of the coyote's breath all over again, and she hid her muzzle behind her paws.
