"Now, remember to keep your tail still," Mulberry instructed. "Keep yourself low to the ground while your stalking it." She was out in the forest with Tigerlily, giving her some tips on hunting. Mulberry herself had started a bit earlier than this, so she decided to take Tigerlily out. She thought that Jaggedfang might be teaching the toms and she didn't want Tigerlily to fall behind. She shifted uncomfortably. Mulberry had forgotten how cumbersome unborn kits could be. Just the walk up here had left her panting and she felt unbalanced and awkward.

Tigerlily

She nodded and dropped into a hunting crouch. "Like this?" When her mother nodded, she sniffed the air for prey, fluffing out her black and white striped pelt in the cold. She stiffened as she caught the scent of mouse. Pinpointing the creature, she smoothly navigated the undergrowth. Tigerlily spotted the mouse scrabbling among the needles underneath a pine tree. Her heart pounding, she remembered Mulberry's tips and pounced. She landed squarely, finishing it off with a bite to the neck.

Jaggedfang turned and saw that Embertail was keeping guard. He had taught him and Thrush how to fight & look big, so he nodded aprovingly at Embertails stance. Thrush was sleeping inside so Jaggedfang went in a woke him up. "Lets go do some swimming lessons again." He mewed to his son. Thrush's pelt & build were perfect for swimming. @Bramblefire01
