Hi, I think it's time I bring back Warblercry home. Short short plot.
Warblercry was caught in a human trap and was sent to a shelter. Scared to death of what’s to come at every second being trapped with a bunch of loonie cats- he was adopted the same day. Not surprising really.
Anyways. Obeying, yet keeping distant they eventually allowed him in the outdoors. Venturing outside that felt like decades since he last saw the sun, then he quickly met [kittypet 1]. It starts off as an argument then a ...somewhat normal conversation. This ended up being a daily thing. Eat some fishy pellets, grooming, go outside and chat with the kittypet. It felt alright with him easing into the comfort of this lifestyle but there was always a tinge of discomfort in his heart. Warblercry started getting close to [kittypet 1] making friends with [kittypet 2 & 3] easily. They were bougie cats so it’s normal for a cat like himself to click with them. Warbler and [kittypet 1] would have deep convos, talk about their life/troubles..well, mostly the kittypet. She was controlling, loud and annoying but..pretty, yeah???
However, when he talked about clan life it quickly put a sour taste in all three kittypets seeing a waver of disinterest and disgust. One day, [kittypet 1] tells how they like him. Warbler feels kinda happy and rolls with it. Around dawn, Warbler takes a night stroll in the yard and meets [rouge 1] with kit (s), they fight and the rogue wins, pinning him down. [can make up what happens between them] - from there on out after the rogue encounter he finally thought of the forest. Comparing the life of a kittypet and a clan warrior, he thought deeply all night.
The next day was unusual to be caged again to see the vet. A few touches then home but it left him concerned. Asking the kittypets, they explained about ‘cutters’ and Warbler didn’t have any of it. He exploded with rage and rants only for [kittypet 1] to attempt to calm him, acting as if it's normal. That’s when Warbler will ragequit, giving his lil’ crush a piece of his mind, and heads back home.
