A big part of Charcoalkit really wanted to scare the kit. That was some of the biggest satisfaction of telling others scary stories. But she didn't wanna lose her as a conversation partner so she decided against it.
"I'll just begin a story that's not scary. Less scary. In ShadowClan, many moons ago, was born a litter of one kit to the leader and his mate. The kit was very cute and fluffy. As she grew up, she became strikingly beautiful. Her parents praised her and gave her everything. One day, she went out to pick some flowers. They were located near the WindClan border. She stuck them in her pretty fur and really liked it. But all flowers wither. So she needed to pick new ones often. The clan enjoyed how much more beautiful the flowers made her. But after a harsh winter, the spot she picked the flowers from died away. The other patches were on WindClan territory." Charcoalkit paused to see the reactions Hazelkit had been having.
