Percy exhaled, running his fingers through his hair."I guess you could say that," he laughed. "You too?" He glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, resisting the urge to brush a stray strand of blonde hair back from her face. Dang, he never could figure out just how she settled for him for she was this beautiful. Not to mention smart. And she was never hotter than after a long day of hard work.

Absentmindedly, he plucked a strand of grass from the ground and twirled it between his fingers. He leaned over and tapped her pinky, ticking it with the blade mischievously.

Annabeth nodded. "For like, the first time ever since I came here." she shrugged. "But I guess it's because of the warmth since it's close to summer."


She rolled her eyes, pecking his lips gently. "You're always going to be a big Seaweed Brain to me." she teased, trying hard not to giggle.
