Gingerpaw gulped and stood up, feeling the need to speak. “Look, I know everyone has a lot of sorrow and acrimony for what has happened. I grieve alongside all of you for our lost clanmates.” He took a deep breath, knowing what he was about to say would offend a few cats. “Despite this, we should not provoke RiverClan.” He flinched as Bluesky let out a small growl of disapproval. “I do not condone Lionstorms actions in the slightest. We lost Buckstar and some of our fellow warriors because of him. But just because Lionstorm did something horrible, does that really mean the plenitude of RiverClan has to pay as well.” Gingerpaw looked up at Eveningmist. “I’m dearly contrite if I interrupted. I just felt as though I needed to say something.” He dipped his head to the leader and sat back down next to Ashpool.
