"From now until you receive you're warrior names, you'll be known as Foxpaw [ @feather lily ], Dirtpaw [ @FrostCat ], Rowanpaw [ @Kyrieknight ], Echopaw [ @ShadowWing65 ], and Snakepaw [ @Bramblefire01 ]." Twilightstar announced the new apprentices with a proud dip of her head before turning her attention to her warriors.
"Skyleap [ @Stormpoppy ]," Twilightstar was aware that the she-cat was already mentoring Dustypaw, but Foxpaw seemed interested in having her as mentor and Twilightstar didn't mind if her clanmates took on two apprentices, but no more than that without some proof that they were actually working hard on getting the current two to warriorhood. "You'll mentor Foxpaw."
"Sleepyslug [ @fallepoch ], I want you to train Dirtpaw." Perhaps an apprentice would keep the warrior on his toes. Dirtpaw was probably going to have a hassle getting the tom up, but she hoped the two go along alright. "Oh, Sleepyslug, Dirtpaw isn't allowed to set paw outside of the camp for the next moon. You can train him within the camp and I want him on tick duty and teach him how to change the bedding for the elders and queens. He knows exactly why he's being punished." Sometimes punishing cats as an apprentice worked better than holding back ceremonies. Twilightstar had been debating on keeping him from the next gathering, but that would be a little too harsh for just roaming around the territory when they were supposed to, Sharpkit would be given the same punishment in due time. (If Twi catches Dirt out of camp at all, expect a demotion)
"Silentstorm [ @Pheasentflight ], you've been eager for a new apprentice. You'll take on Snakepaw as your apprentice." The leader made sure to lock eyes with the she-cat as she spoke and waved her tail in a broad sweep in the apprentice's direction. The fact the molly couldn't hear didn't make her any less of a warrior in Twilightstar's eyes, she hoped the same was seen by Snakepaw.
"Duskfrost [ @Kunaiskrill ]," She called to the deflated warrior, he had his hopes set on medicine cat, she felt a little bad for him but things turned out this way for a reason. "You'll mentor Rowanpaw." The apprentice seemed to have an interest in herbs like the warrior. Twilightstar was hoping they could bond over this and maybe help Peachfrost out with herb collecting.
"Appleshine [ @Tiabirb ], Echopaw will be your apprentice." The warrior appeared to be in a festive mood majority of the time, she didn't think it would be hard to get along with her unless you were constantly grumpy like some toms she knew. Echopaw looked anything like a cranky cat, so it should be alright.
"Sweetpaw [ @Finn ], Rainpaw [ @Fuzzy ], Lavanderpaw [ @Twilightwing ], Toadpaw [ @wren ], Leafpaw [ Feather Lily ], Silverpaw [ @Ella_heart ] and Cinderpaw [ Feather Lily ]. It's about time we found you all new mentors. " It would never stop bugging her how easily cats vanished from clans. They made their vows and still someone how managed to leave everything behind them.
"Cloversplash [ @Dahliamoon ] take good care of Rainpaw." The apprentice could use a good mentor after what she went through. "Strikecry [ @Cobra ], you'll be training Sweetpaw from now on. Rainingtail [ @windtail ], train Lavanderpaw. Blackmist [ @~Fierceclaw~ ], I want you on Leafpaw's training. Squirreldash [ @Angelique ], you'll mentor Toadpaw. Breezetail [ Shadowwing65 ], you have Silverpaw. Rippleshade [ @Rippleshade ], you'll train Cinderpaw." Reassignments were never extremely easy, but worth it if it meant getting the young ones back on track to being warriors.
"Gulltwist [ @Zesty Mango ], with Coldamber slowly recovering, I want her to be trained as a warrior. You've spent enough time caring for her that I trust you'll set a pace for her training that she can handle without overworking her." It was normally frowned upon having cats train kin, but Coldamber was a special case.
"Batglare, Mushroomdream [ @Romulus ], Flickerpaw [ @-Skyfall- ] and Jaggedscar [ @Bonehead ], you'll all stay around after the meeting to speak about Flickerpaw's training." Not that she hadn't trusted Batglare's report, but she'd like to hear from everyone before making any final calls.
"Swiftfire [ Tiabirb ] and Wildpaw [ Romulus ], you two also need to speak with me after the meeting." As much as she'd prefer yowling at the young tom from the Breezerock, she dislikes the idea of publicly shaming the cat or somehow making scars invisible to the naked eye. Perhaps a word with Swiftfire might reign the prankster in. She owed Seedheart that much at least.
