Fogcloud was curled next to the warrior, trying to get some more warmth.

Slatestripe turned just in time to see one of his Clanmates come over to him. He felt a moment of panic as he was initially unable to retrieve her name from his memory. After stumbling mentally over a dozen names, he settled on the right one. Ivybush. Right.

His whiskers twitched. “Do you need something? I’m currently planning on going hunting, but I can help you later if you have a problem.”

Ivybush smiled, “I was going to ask you if you wanted to go hunting! What a coincidence!” He laughed, smiling widely. He bounced up and down.

Slatestripe was lying in the clearing, about to go off into a sweet, dream-filled abyss for his afternoon nap. Just as he was dozing off, he heard a lot of yowling coming from Pikestar’s den. This piqued his curiosity, and he sat up. He could make out a few words here and there. Gosh, he was glad he wasn’t that cat.

The brown apprentice had been tucked into a loaf form, basking in some sunlight when their ears perked when they heard rather loud voices coming from Pikestar's den. Her head turned, wincing slightly, truly I'm just glad it's not me in that situation. Their ears stayed swiveled toward the den still, wanting to hear what might happen next as they moved their head back to quietly observe the rest of the camp.

Otterfluff
Having watched the young warrior slip into Pikestar's den, Otterfluff felt his eyes widen a bit in shock as yelling seemed to erupt from the den. It was difficult to make out anything other than a few words, but the tall brown tom got the gist of what was going on. Something about the Clan's youth... protecting them... Pikestar not being everywhere at once. Stars. Otterfluff was a dedicated warrior, loyal, but not even he himself could fault a cat for missing things here and there. Rather interesting that such a new warrior found fault in a cat much older than him, and was blind to the responsibility they held in their paws to also keep the apprentices safe.

It seemed he was not the only one overhearing this drama, and the fluffy brown tom strode over to Slatestripe. "It seems as though Pikestar is putting the younger warriors of the Clan in their place," he mused as he took a seat, dipping his head to his Clanmate. This was perhaps the first time Otterfluff had truly heard the RiverClan leader raise his voice in such a way, other than the Firefly Cove battle, and frankly he was rather proud.
