"Coming!" The lithe molly called excitedly, dashing towards the stotic warrior, and almost running right into him. She skidded with a halt and gave a wide grin. "Reporting for duty, Rainfall sir!"

Bumblestar trotted away up to the medicine cat, ears forward. "All finished up. Violetfreckle 'n I found that ragweed for you. That's really it though, nothin' else of interest."

Rainfall smiled at the apprentice, a bit uncomfortable but still, it was a patrol, so he needed to interact to make it the least awkward patrol possible. And based off of this Apprentices enthusiasm, he didn’t think it would be much of a problem to keep her from misbehaving. “Oh, why hello.” he said quietly, faintly purring. “Let’s wait for Heronsnarl here.” he added, sitting down.

It was a good thing his shoulder had finally healed up. Sharpclaw trotted up to Alderstep and looked at him with his usual amber glare. He really wasn't looking forward to patrolling that specific border, but a job was a job, and by stars would he get it done.

"On it," he gruffed, turning away from the deputy and toward the exit of camp. He spared a glance at his patrol mates as he passed them by, but said nothing. They weren't deaf, at least he assumed as much, and he trusted that they could follow some simple instructions.

In the midst of grooming his pelt, he pauses to listen to the deputy's words, already expecting his name to be called. And lo and behold, he was correct. Leading a patrol this time, hm? Interesting choice but not a wrong one by any means. Rising to his feet, mismatched hues scan the clearing before settling upon Sparkleap, who already looked to be waiting for him. Blinking slow, he makes his way over, only offering a polite nod in greeting before glancing about for the apprentice to be joining them.

Nightgaze pricked her ears eagerly to listen to Alderstep, Yes! Yes! She was chosen! And she'd lead the patrol? Awesome! Now her patrolmates hmm...she knew who Spiderthroat was he was grumpy! But she didn't really know Dreampaw...Oh well she'd get to know them on patrol.

Fidgeting excitedly the small she-cat looked frantically around for the pelts of the two particular cats she was tasked in leading "Ay! Spiderthroat! Dreampaw! C'mon let's get movin'!" she called out energetically she didn’t disguise how impatient she was too get going quite like a kit...
