There were always toms looking to show off to the object of their affection, hoping that their special someone would give them a nod or a smile in return for a gift. Honestly? Stormwing couldn't care less about their fancy gifts and their flirtatious methods. As long as they had good hearts, they would be good enough for her. They didn't even have to be good natured, though that was always a bonus. Having Hiddentalon-- Hiddenpaw at that time-- come and thank her had felt like a blessing. See, Stormwing wasn't a well-appreciated cat. She wasn't used to being thanked, even if she had saved his life. Too bad she hadn't been able to save it again. Too bad she hadn't been there when-- Stormwing closed her eyes and weakly shook her head as though trying to get rid of a bad memory. And she was... one certain one in particular, not one that had happened again. And she was praying to StarClan that they wouldn't let it happen again. She wouldn't have wished that on her worst enemy, let alone him. When she opened her eyes again, she smiled a little at Leafpaw. "So! Shall we go then?" She mewed in a falsely cheerful and upbeat tone, the pain in it hidden very well.
|
Leafpaw's ears twitched slightly, a thoughtful expression on his face. "The first, is one of my friends, and the only one who knows about it, they're name is Remorapaw or, Remorakit at the time I showed it to them." He spoke calmly, a friendly gleam in his eyes as he spoke about his friend. They were a friend, nothing else. Leafpaw wasn't the romantic type, sure a small little flirty tease, but nothing less than that, and he wasn't going to jump into that stuff into he was ready for it, and only when he was ready for it. His whiskers twitched slightly, as he eyed the cheery she cat, he knew, slightly, something was off, but he didn't want to push anything. With a twitch of the ear, he gave a small nod.
"We may." The thoughtful apprentice spoke, a small hesitant expression on his face, as he looked toward the direction of camp, of his collection. It was weird, he hadn't ever touched ever since he became a warrior apprentice, and started training. He was too busy, anyways. Leafpaw started off toward the camp, but he was still hesitant. What if it wasn't their anymore? He didn't want to disappoint her, that would be...eh he couldn't think about it right now, not yet anyway. He would do that when they got their.

Re: ThunderClan Territory
Browntail stepped into Thunderclan territory looking for food. Although she was a loner, she always felt sort of at home in this wood. The terrain was familiar, the shadows comforting, the relaxing scent. Plus there was almost always food and, it seemed, no one else to eat it. As she was padding through the forest, she opened her mouth a bit to get a scent of food but was not met by a smell of mouse or vole, but a scent of another cat. Her fur bristled and she flexed her muscles under her glossy brown and white coat. Browntail looked around waiting for a feline to appear.

Turning her head to look at her younger companion, she thought for another brief moment before answering. "We should probably head further back. Anywhere, really-- but if you want to work on hunting, then the further back areas are the best ones to go to." Her voice was quiet and polite, not forceful. Though that was no surprise... Amberflame was often that way. She didn't have the most harsh of voices, and yet when she spoke, it was near to impossible not to listen. She had that kind of a voice where it seemed she was able to control an entire area just by speaking a single word... or, albeit, a few words. Though the she cat would have liked that power, she knew that it would never happen with her. It just wasn't possible, not with a she cat that she considered herself to be like. Not only that, but despite her efforts, most cats only saw her as a pretty face... even now.

Duskpaw shrugged and nodded.
She hsdnt been out in the territory but a few times with her mentor, and so she didn't really have a good feel for it yet. "Lead the way," she said simply, swishing her tail with what little anticipation she had. She glared into the trees, listening for any sign of prey while also waiting for Amberflame to take her to the best spot to hunt was. Maybe she could impress herself by catching something along the way, or she could catch multiple things! No, Duskpaw had to keep a calm and cool head. She couldn't give in to her siblings' hyperactive and annoying ways. It simply would not be done by her. She refused to be like them, hyperactive, full of energy. It was to much for her. Simply too much.

Sunpaw was slightly exasperated, and as he tried to stand up, he slipped and fell in the mud again with a loud "splat." "Great Starclan. Today is not my day." Sunpaw meowed, trying to keep anger out of his mew. He was having fun messing around with Everpaw, but he was really sensitive about keeping his fur nice and clean, and this went t far. He did NOT want to get mad at his best friend though. The only cats he ever got mad at were those who disrespected him, or toms who flirted with the she-cats he was targeting at that time. He hated getting mad at those close to him. He may be a flirt, but he was extremely loyal to those whom he trusted. He slowly stood up again, and tiptoed out of the mud as not to fall in it again. Once he was out, he took a look at his muddy, matted fur. "Oh Starclan." He said again, his voice dangerously quiet. Sunpaw could feel himself on the verge of yelling, it took all his willpower to not lash out at Everpaw.
He could clearly see the mud was too thick to wash off with his tongue,
and with disdain, the golden apprentice realized he would have to wash off in some water. "Everpaw, um... I n-need water..." He called to his friend, his voice shaking as he tried to control his anger.
|
The apprentice flailed desperately, searching for something that she could cling on to. A smirk broadened as she reached out with a paw, aiming to grab a fern as she slid across the damp ground. Nearly there. And....
She missed it.
Despite her situation, the she-cat sighed and rolled her eyes as she slid across the clearing, coming to an especially muddy spot. She turned her head around, her eyes widening in panic as she saw that she was headed straight for a tree trunk. Luckily, she wasn’t going at such a fast speed now that the mud was starting to fade from the ground. Still, she wouldn’t be able to stop the movement and for the third time that day, she shut her eyes tightly as she braced for yet another impact.
A loud thud came with a moan of pain as Everpaw hit the tree. It wasn’t a very hard hit, but it was hard enough to make her glare at the tree in annoyance. She looked to see if her friend had had any better luck than she had, although she soon found her answer. For a moment, the calico did nothing but stare at her best friend with wide and unblinking yellow orbs. A few moments later, she burst out laughing at the once golden furred tom’s appearance. He looked as though he was a monster that had lived in the mud for an eternity. It made Everpaw laugh so hard that not long after she was rolling on the soft grass, clutching her stomach as it ached from the extremes of her laughter. She knew she probably shouldn’t be laughing at him, she knew that he could be rather sensitive and this might be rather hurtful towards him, but she couldn’t help it. Finally, the calico apprentice managed to get a hold of herself and she sat up, a contorted expression of pain on her face as she did her best to keep her laughter down.
As Sunpaw spoke, Everpaw could hear the anger about to burst through his voice. Her laughter immediately died down and she looked back at the apprentice with a slightly fearing expression. The she-cat was one who didn’t normally care about who was angry at her, but she hated having close ones mad at her. She would never admit it, but it hurt. She wasn’t the most popular cat in the clan and she treasured those who were close to her. Any conflict could make her flinch.
“Um right. Let’s go this way, there’s a stream not too far away!” Everpaw exclaimed, beckoning with her tail. She rose to her mud covered paws, being careful not to slip before skipping off, glancing to see if Sunpaw was following.

Slatestorm was vaguely unaware of how long she had been laying there in pain, screeching in agony. Clenching her teeth and telling herself over and over that she would be ok. Though in the moment it didn't seem to be taking any effect on how much she wanted it to be over already. How much in the moment she regret taking lessons and harsh punishment from those dark forest cats. It seemed like an awful idea now, but in the future she was sure there was going to be a moment of triumph. So the long suffering must be endured in order to reach that moment. So she grit her teeth and staggered to her paws, falling back for a moment as the wound stretched. She bit down on her tongue for a moment, taking deep breaths amd steadying her shaking body. Than her ears heated up in alarm, someone's voice. Terror shook her body and now she was forcing herself to her paws. Struggling to gain balence and come over the pain that ate at her belly. Nibbling on her sanity and will to live.
I have to get out of here. Now. I can't risk being seen thoguth the feline as she lay back on her side, her rapid breaths now slowing to normalcy. She felt the sun beat down harshly on her chest and wounds, giving another sense of discomrort on the exposed flesh. She could never hide it even if she tried. Let alone get to her paws to face the cat. She rolled onto her side and looked at the forest floor for a moment before clamping her jaws on a nearby root. She bit down on it drawing some nasty smelling sap. I have to get out of here, or at least get out of sight before they come. she thiht shutting her eyes tight. Than she pulled on the root so there was tension before forcing herself T to her paws. She whimpers in agony as ripples of shock go down through her legs making them cripple weakly below him.
|
[It's fine! Hope you get better!]
The ginger tabby limped through the forest, a noticeable limp in her leg. Her gaze was hardened as she tried to block out the pain, lips curled to reveal clenched teeth. Luckily for her, the impact on her shoulder wasn’t too serious, and the pain was somewhat bearable. That is, for now anyway. With each step that she took, Honeyvenom could feel the pain stabbing harder and harder. It wasn’t very long before the pain had become unbearable and the warrior was now having to support herself on three legs. She padded awkwardly through the territory, letting out soft whimpers every now and again.
A sharp hiss was let out as the she-cat suddenly stumbled over a small tree root, scrambling for balance but having to put her injured paw on the ground in the process. A loud cry of agony escaped her maw as she carefully lifted her paw back up from the ground. Honeyvenom could feel the pain shooting through her body, aiming for her shoulder. Why me? She thought. All she had wanted to do was to go for a nice hunt in the territory, yet, she had instead hurt her shoulder, preventing her from contributing to her clan. Instead, she was probably going to waste some medicinal supplies that she was sure Wheatfur would’ve much wanted to use on someone else.
The warrior couldn’t help but slightly dread paying a visit to the medicine cat. It wasn’t that there was anything wrong with the den or the medicine cat, she just didn’t want to take up Wheatfur’s precious time. Honeyvenom had noticed that Zerosight had always been occupied by something or someone, so surely it was the same for Wheatfur? The ginger she-cat found herself sometimes wondering how the new medicine cat was coping. It must be strange, having been a warrior for quite a few moons before having to change to a whole new role. The tabby knew that she probably would’ve struggled if it had been her, but luckily she hadn’t been chosen by their starry ancestors. As a kit, Honeyvenom had been quite interested in the role of a medicine cat, however, as she grew older she completely fell in love with the work of a warrior. Being a medicine cat didn’t interest her, so she was happy to leave it to the cats who knew what they were doing.
It was rather unfortunate that being a warrior meant you were always at the risk of injuring yourself. Whether it be in a fight, or just doing something that you did every day. In Honeyvenom’s case, it was hunting. Of all ways to damage a shoulder, this particular warrior’s had been hunting. Hopefully it was nothing serious. At this moment, the she-cat wanted nothing more than for her leg to heal and her hunting expedition to continue.
Suddenly, loud screeches broke through the soft chirping of birds in the distance. Honeyvenom’s ear pricked to attention as she listened carefully. It sounded like someone was in pain. Worry and concern quickly clouding over her amber orbs, the warrior did as best as she could to reach the source of the pained shrieks. Although, she couldn’t go at a very fast pace, seeing as she could only use three of her four limbs. The cries grew louder and louder as she neared a certain part of the territory. She looked around and her eyes immediately flew to the shape of a fellow clanmate, standing on the soft grass and clearly experiencing large amounts of unbearable pain. “What happened?” Honeyvenom asked after letting out a gasp of shock. The she-cat knew little about injuries and what not, but it didn’t take an expert to tell that this she-cat was hurt badly.
The female looked rather familiar. Honeyvenom could remember seeing her once in the camp. Her name? She wasn’t quite too sure but wasn’t it like Slate something? But at this moment, a name didn’t really matter much. Her clanmate was hurt and she couldn’t just let her stay there, unable to move something without it hurting.
The warrior limped to her clanmate’s side and helped her by letting her lean on her, despite her own injury. Honeyvenom quickly scanned over the figure of the she-cat. Although, the ginger tabby wasn’t an expert in the injury department, and she couldn’t tell very well by just looking at something. However, she was quite an intelligent cat. By the looks of it, the she-cat was unable to move, meaning that she was probably going through the pain and agony that a leg injury gave?
If she was right, then wasn’t this such a coincidence? Two cats from the same clan, but injured by something of the leg. Lovely.

Browntail tried not to stare at the other cat because she knew if she let guard down the other she-cat would spring. But she had never seen another cat in this forest before. she had always assumed that she had all the prey and land to herself. She tried to get a smell of the other feline and found that she carried the sweet scent of the forest with her. Browntail's torn ear twitched in surprise. "I am Browntail," she said hesitantly, tensing her muscles under her fur. Browntail peered at the cream-coated she-cat. "Who are you? Why are you here?"

The kittypet sensed his awareness but still crept closer, she used the trees to her advantage and jumped branch to branch following him
