ShadowClan Life Before Destruction

Nettlespark steps out of the warriors den and stretches before casting a look around the clearing. He wasn't going to visit his family in the nursery yet- though he was truly looking forward to doing so soon. Instead, he wanted to head out into the territory. Ever since Albedo had left of her own volition, on her own, he felt compelled to at least make sure the coast was clear. The Clan had enough on their plates, and if he could at least do this, he could tell Beastspark there was one less thing to worry about. Their deputy was doing a lot more lately in lieu of Icestar falling ill, and the young tom respected and looked up to his older peer because of it.

But he wasn't that intent on patrolling their territory alone, and hoped that there'd be at least one other who felt like going out for a little while today with him. "Anybody up for a little walk?" the warrior meows loudly, imploringly, as he pads towards the camp exit. If no one arrived, he had no qualms with soloing it.

Minksong sighed in defeat as she watched - and heard - her kits reign hell on their large nest. She gazed at the rat at the end of their nest in longing though knowing that the prey wasn't flourishing as of yet. They were just coming out of leafbare, the cold yet to leave its grasp on the earth nor waking the prey yet. She would have to share that with her kits and wait for the next patrol. At least she wasn't producing milk anymore, the kits strong enough to eat without her needing to eat extra for them all. Yawning as she stood up she flicked off the moss from her shoulders and flanks and nudged all the kits. "Quail, if you do not quiet down I will carry you myself for the rest of the day." She was not annoyed by any means, more amused but the kit did need to learn to shut that keen mouth of hers. Her tail curling around Frogkit and Jaykit she gently pushed them towards the exit, for them to watch the sunrise yet again as they'd done so many times before when the kits had just started to see and explore.

Blackfoot, who was stretched out in a ray off sun, gave a heavy yawn as he heard the other warrior calling for a companion. His black pelt was warmed from the ray's of the sun, and he'd had enough of a nap. Splitting his mall, his tongue curled out with a heavy yawn, needle claws stretching into the dirt below. After one last stretch, arching his back and tail, the dark warrior gazed over at Nettlespark with yellow beams, "I'll tag along." He offered, his meow rather deep and low in his chest as he passed nearer. @implimm

Thistlepaw cracked a yawn as she wiggled out of the apprentice's den. The entrance was beginning to get a little small for her now. She'd grown significantly since her first night here, but she was still a small cat when compared to the average. She sniffed the cold morning air, the forest smelled of melting this week and the snow had an icy crust. Soon there would be little puddles of snow to walk through because of the beating sun. She was a little sour that leaf bare would be over so soon, but new leaf was also nice with all the rolling clouds and rainy days. She curled up on an icy patch and began a quick groom of some of the horrendous mats she had while waiting for her mentor.

Nettlespark almost starts as the baritone voice reaches his ears, and he looks over to see the rather large Blackfoot approaching. "Ah, thank you," he meows gratefully. At least he would have some company, then. "Let's waste no time in this."

The larger tom nodded his head, flicking his ears attentively, "Lead the way." He flicked his thin black tail in the direction of the entrance, waiting for the other.

Foxleaf walked to the Highbranch and sat down. Wondering why Beastspark had called a meeting.

After a decent number of clanmates arrived, Beastspark decided to begin. "Greencough has hit the camp which is why Icestar isn't leading the meeting this time. So unless the matter needs her absolute attention, stay out of her den. She'll be fine so long as she gets the time to rest and recover." The deputy shut his maw to allow what he said to sink into his clanmates. He hoped this meant fewer cats would be up there bothering her now.

"Anyone with even the slightest cough should head to the medicine den for a check-up. If you notice anyone coughing and not going speak to Irispaw. Bearpaw has gone missing, so Irispaw will be taking over as our medicine cat indefinitely." He informs them, leaving the detail about how this came to be out, all they needed to know was that they had a new medicine cat.

"On a lighter note, I have some ceremonies to do and some new mentors to assign, but before that, Twilightheart [ @FlameQueen ], you've deliberately disobeyed me multiple times, started trouble with RiverClan for no reason, and acted like a complete lunatic during the last gathering. You've become nothing more than a festering stain to ShadowClan's reputation. For a warrior, your behaviors been appalling, you're unfit to call yourself a member of Shadowclan. I take great joy in telling you that you've lost all rights to live in ShadowClan, we are no longer your clan nor your home.

Leave. If any of the patrols spot you on our territory they'll have permission to shred you." Beastspark hissed, voice speaking volumes of his utter disdain with the she-cat. He was overly delighted to be the one to banish her from the clan. She's literally caused him nothing but trouble. The blind mouse-brain should have seen this coming, her behaviors been nothing but atrocious.

Finally, things were getting started! It seemed like cats were taking their sweet time in coming together, and Nettlespark was alarmed to say the least at how few of them actually did show up. But he set his attention on what the deputy said gladly. It was unfortunate that his fear was true- Icestar was sick, and it had to be bad if they were advising anyone with a tickle in their throat visiting the former ThunderClan medicine cat... apprentice. How concerning. He casts a glance towards the leader's den, and blinks when he notices the figure half-concealed. Poor Icestar!

The next issue to be addressed brings great satisfaction to the young warrior though and his mood lightens a little. Twilightheart was being exiled! He looks over at the she-cat from where he sits. It wasn't hard to miss her. Nettlespark held nothing but bad memories of the molly and even if she was his father's sister, he'd gladly volunteer to be extra muscle escorting her off of their lands if need be. Good riddance, useless toad, the young male thinks to himself with a snort of contempt, observing her to see what she'd do now.

The massive black apprentice shuddered at Beastspark's harsh words, looking around for the now banished member. There was a mix of pitty and venom for the she-cat. Shadowclan didn't need trouble from it's own members. Scuffling her large paws, she tightened her tail around her paws, keeping her eyes to the deputy as she waited for the next news.
