Re: The Shadowledge
Cougarpaw understood his grandmas rage now. 4 dead warriors over something that should've never happened?!? He growled in outrage. He felt everything that she said and that was being done was the bare minimum of what should be repaid

Re: The Shadowledge
From a side of camp, Nightshiver silently came to listen to the meeting. She'd arrived a little tardy and would rather not disturb anyone with her movement; and, honestly, she was fine at the camp's sides as well. It was a lot calmer here, albeit Dawnstar's voice sounded bits soft, she had no issue understanding what was happening. So much was happening in fact, and the former queen could feel a knot of nerves begin to form within the pit of her stomach as possible out comes began to flash through her mind.

Re: The Shadowledge
That's her brother. No. That was her brother. Oliveglow's much too still body was laying in the clearing with the other three warriors who had lost their lives in the recent skirmish - but Grapevine's vacant green gaze was fixed on only him. Memories of their childhood flashed in her mind; a stark juxtaposition to the carnage that laid before her. Had he done the same in his final moments? Had Oliveglow thought of the silly games they played in the nursery... or the competitions of their apprenticeship? Or had the Thunderclanner that snapped his leg then slit his throat not allowed him a moments peace before they killed him?
She tuned out the piercing yowls of her clanmates as they gave their unasked for opinions. Did they think Dawnstar would truly care? That she would value their words and take them to heart? Please. Grapevine knew Dawnstar for what she truly was - an uncaring monster. A soulless being that dumped the dead bodies of the fallen in the clearing like they were a piece of prey. No thank yous. No chance to grieve. She just moved on with the meeting, and the clan followed suit. Grapevine huffed from her seat in the middle of the group, finally tearing her eyes away from her brother and steeling her gaze at the leader.
"And what will that do?" Her meow rang out. "Taking land from Thunderclan does nothing for us. If anything they will initiate another battle and we will lose more warriors. More of our own will be gone. For what? Revenge? For power? You say Sparrowstar plans to repay us for the damage done. A few herbs and prey to replace our fallen. Do we really waste our time pushing for more? When our dead are rotting right before our eyes?"
She stood then, padding solemnly towards Oliveglow and the others. "I don't care what you choose Dawnstar. What I care about is honoring and burying the warriors who gave their life for us." A lilac paw rested protectively over her brother's corpse, daring the leader to deny the fallen the most basic courtesy.

Re: The Shadowledge
High Rank Announcement [#hrannouncement]
Dawnstar was starting to wonder if some thought her deaf or hard of hearing, the leader's eyes dropped down toward Deadwish as he complained to his mate. She caught mutters spoken more to themselves to her as waited for someone to actually refute her thoughts or offer something more to this meeting. Cougarivy, ever quick to make a game out of life, swiftly began to start something Deadwish over his commentary. Although thankfully she offered something useful to the discussion. She wanted to move the border, plausible, Dawnstar had been planning to do that the second ThunderClan refute her terms, which she had a feeling they would. Maybe they should just move the border regardless?
Smokepaw's words to her mentor, the recently returned Owlfeather, caught Dawnstar's momentary attention. When spoke like that, it was a wonder as to why ThunderClan had been stealing from ShadowClan in the first place. It could be due to the whole takeover thing, but that was so last season, or rather seasons ago. Compared to everything ShadowClan's done to ThunderClan, it was RiverClan that should still hold their ire. Not to mention, if they were having prey trouble, why start up an entirely new feud with ShadowClan of all clans? Aside from that, Smokepaw did make a valid point, simply requesting hunting grounds for the death of our seemed lenient.
At Deadfeather's comment, Dawnstar frowned but didn't bother saying anything assuming one of the brighter clans would clue Deadfeather in on why making ThunderClan hunt for them wasn't the greatest idea.
Deadwish seemed to finally settle on speaking up after Cougarivy's antagonizing. His words were similar to Smokepaw's, however, the defiance was unwarranted and completely unnecessary. There was no argument being made here, just an open debate, not to mention Dawnstar did see his point, more should be asked for. Picking a fight with her over this, when she actually saw reason in his words was petty and stupid.
Mothcloud's words had the she-cat's hackles raising, the Shadow Queen hadn't even given an order. What the hell is this word is law thing? Are they just trying to piss her off! Imbeciles. They were lucky Cougarivy was already dealing with them, although not harshly enough if you asked her. She'd deal with them once she was done listening to everyone else.
Mirehound seemed to be in agreement with Dawnstar's silent thought as she pointed out that Deadwish didn't need to be here. Her agreement with Cougarivy's idea with the addition of 'start' had a touch of amusement gleam within the leader's eyes before it petered out.
At Shadefrost comment about being lenient, Dawnstar was slowly surmising that she probably was but that's why she was asking for the clan's thoughts. At the mention of taking the lives of the patrol who started it, Dawnstar leaned towards it, until Mirehound mentioned that their bodies already lined ThunderClan's border. Really? Dawnstar didn't recall seeing many ThunderClan dead, besides the one Frostscreech had skinned, but she doubted Mirehound of all cats would lie to her regarding this. Plus, Dawnstar hadn't been looking for ThunderClan's dead.
Frostscreech words were similar to the others, not requesting enough. He made a point with newleaf nearing, prey and herbs would be regrowing and become an abundance once again. He also seemed to be partial to Cougarivy's idea. So far it seemed like the clan wanted territory as appeasement. That was fine with her. Ignoring the nervous look Frostscreech had, Dawnstar cast her gaze to Shadowfur.
He's wanted territory as well, but instead of requesting it or giving ThunderClan any idea of what they wanted he simply wanted them to take it. That would be fitting, but Dawnstar would rather they know that they were coming for them. Still, she was willing to think about it. Taking a ThunderClan landmark was too good of an idea to dismiss. Branchfire was quick to call his agreement with Shadowfur's plan, although make sure to iterate that the decision was hers. Larkfire's voice followed in favor of gaining more territory as well.
(Edit start)
Sunsetthorn was next to speak up, Dawnstar wasn't expecting the little runaway to voice her thoughts, the moll's been rather quiet since returning to ShadowClan. Dawnstar wouldn't mind if she remained like that. Perhaps it was because she was silent that when offered the chance she ran her mouth. Despite her disdain for the she-cat, Dawnstar's kept her ears raised and heard her out. Unlike the others, it seemed that Sunsethorn was set on the original terms Sparrowstar had laid out, taking what was offered, knowing that Sparrowstar and her clan of rodents would never ever see eye to eye on it and using it to create a deeper break in the clan. Dawnstar simply wanted what she felt ShadowClan was owed, she hadn't been thinking of the repercussions it would cause ThunderClan. It was an interesting angle, to say the least.
The bit about the victims... it made sense but it didn't sit well with Dawnstar. Regardless of how much pride ThunderClan would lose forking over the prey and herbs, it wouldn't hurt as much as actually losing clanmates. Prey comes back and herbs regrow. Dawnstar was more partial to pushing the borders the more cats spoke up about it. Eventually even wounded prided can be nursed back to full health. Taking territory would be a long and harsh reminder every time ThunderClan left their camp. Even if ThunderClan pulls the victims' play again, it's not like it changes anything. Everyone knows that is ThunderClan's default strategy cause they're too weak to actually stand up for themselves or take responsibility for their actions. If she had heard Sunsetthorn speak before Cougarivy, as much as she hated to admit it, she might have been swayed in her favor. The leader's thoughts shifted to Havengaze as he spoke in favor of Sunsethorn's plan of action. Dawnstar rolled her eyes at the fool.
(Edit End)
"Havengaze, whose permission aside from my own do I need for any of this? As for unnecessary skirmish and death, leading a patrol to trespass into my territory, to steal prey so close to newleaf, and start a fight that results in the death of four of my own... that is what I call unnecessary. ShadowClan hasn't done anything to warrant such aggression or violence. I haven't touched their borders, haven't senselessly killed their clanmates, haven't stolen their herbs or prey, aside from the trouble seasons ago, there is no reason to antagonize ShadowClan. Even then, compared to what RiverClan did to ThunderClan, ShadowClan's little spat with ThunderClan is nothing. It'd make more sense if WindClan was pulling this. There was no reason for this other than to earn ShadowClan's ire, and if that's what they wanted they've succeeded."
"Any death after this is justified as far as I'm concerned." Dawnstar paused to run her eyes over the clanmates who had spoken in favor of retribution. They knew what starting a war risked, if they really didn't want to fight they could walk away. Become a kittypet, or join a more peaceful clan. Those who said they had no choice but to follow Dawnstar's orders because they were 'law', were pathetic worms too scared to stand up for themselves and walk away. Everyone had a choice, anyone who says otherwise is a liar. "As for not caring about your lives, you speak as if I sit back in my den and send you all out to fight for me." The scarred she-cat scoffed at the absurdity of the thought. "As if I don't bear the scars of battle and death myself, as if my blood has never been spilled, as if I don't risk anything at all." Dawnstar paused, leering over her clanmates, sighing.
(Edit start)
"Alright, let's forget the fact that you've been trained your entire life to fight and die for your clan, that you swore an oath to give your life to ShadowClan, and that its the clan that has voiced they want revenge and are willing to fight to get it, and pretend that I actually side with you. The more I hear the more I see the flaw in simply abiding by the terms that were set. No matter how much herbs and prey we take, they'll regrow and repopulate, the damage isn't long-term enough. Even with their hurt pride, I doubt it will last long. If ThunderClan were as touchy about their pride as ShadowClan is, they would have fought a lot harder when I took over their clan." She meowed, twitching her ear. "Your idea isn't bad, Sunsetthorn, but if spilling blood and risking your life isn't worth what's taken then I'm starting to see little point in taking it." The plan itself was smarter and more thought out than most, but too soft compared to what the rest of the clan wanted. Dawnstar was going to assume that Sunsetthorn got at least half her brain from Elmshadow, hence why when she spoke once in a blue moon, something worthwhile might dawn on her.
Havengaze seemed to just simply go against her for the sake of irritating her, or at least that is what it sounded like to her. This is why she was swift to remind him that, she wasn't ordering anyone to do anything against their will, nor recklessly throwing away lives. The Clan wanted to fight, wanted more than what Dawnstar had offered, who was she to say no to them? The blame for the deaths, if any, would not be lain on her paws.
(Edit End)
The more she thought about the constant, unnecessary defiance the more she felt a reminder needed to be made. So she roared to ensure all heard her next words even though they were directed towards the troublemakers. "Seriously, I really wonder where some of your guys' heads are. I've been leading this clan for over eight seasons, now. You know very well how I run ShadowClan and what happens to those who cross me. I'd like to think I haven't softened much when it comes to dishing out punishment or retribution. I haven't pretended to be some benevolent, peaceful, forgiving, or whatever leader you mousebrains have cooked up in your peabrains. You know that I don't like wasting my time on stupidity, and I'm not a big fan of drama. I will go to extreme measures to make sure those that cross me or ShadowClan think long and hard before trying again. I haven't changed much since I took charge of ShadowClan, you know exactly who I am and what I do to traitors and my enemies."
"I've grown tired of some of these petty arguments you morons like to have with me about how I run ShadowClan. I've said this once and I'll say it again. If you don't like me or how I lead, get your asses out of my Clan. If you want a benevolent, soft leader who will sit still and bows her head in cowardice, using the excuse that enough death and blood has been spilled, go join WindClan. Or better yet, any clan besides ShadowClan. I will spill as much blood, and cause as much death, as I believe is needed to right any wrong towards ShadowClan. If you're not on board with this type of retribution, or simply want to argue with me for the sake of arguing, or want to play the part of some dumb hero ShadowClan never asked for, or simply just hate me and can't keep your mouth shut, there's the exit. I'm going to be here for a long long time, perhaps even long after the haters are gone. So deal with it, sit down and shut up if you don't have anything reasonable or viable to contribute to the meeting."
Dawnstar's eyes glanced at Grapevine as the she-cat started whining about her not burying the dead and basically what the other two idiots were saying. Ugh... Dawnstar wasn't going to even dignify that one with a response. First off, was it not customary to bring the dead in for cats to mourn? Dawnstar didn't do that normally, always wanted the dead buried so they could be mourned in the Moonlit Grove, still, it was literally a tradition for the dead to be left out for what... a night to be mourned was it not? What the hell was this rotting corpse dung she was spewing? Second off, Dawnstar would have already had the four buried in the Moonlit grove if she hadn't had to call a meeting. She had no plans not to honor or avoid burying their dead, especially when she was going on a rant about them dying. Geez, it was literally another moron doing everything in their power and grasping at nothing in hopes to make Dawnstar out to be worst than she actually was. Well, actually no, Dawnstar was pretty bad, but the point was that that was a given by now. Maybe someone with a brain would clue Grapevine in on her speculations.
Damn, some of these cats... Dawnstar gave a vigorous whole-body shake, as if trying to fling off something unsettling and returned to those who actually bothered with being sensible and offered something worth thinking about.
"It seems like most of you want to move the border or obtain territory. I'll admit I do like that far more than measly prey or herbs, we don't really need extra territory, but taking it would certainly put ThunderClan in its place, and new territory would start to make up for our losses." Plus, it would be something to fight over in the future meaning it would give ShadowClan a reason to keep their claws sharp, as well as give the apprentices some real battle experience. "Taking a landmark seems fair, preferably one with extra herbs and prey. Naturally, we shouldn't give ThunderClan any right to pick what they give us." The more she thought about it the better the idea got.
"I want to see how ThunderClan is faring and gather whatever information we can before we make any moves. I don't really care whether we win or lose our fights, despite what is implied, I don't enjoy seeing my clanmates die, traitors excluded, and I've already lost four of you. I need as many of you as alive as possible if you want to gain experience in your wins and defeats. We should wait until after the gathering to make any plans or move the border. Thoughts?"

Re: The Shadowledge
Owltree thought about this. Oliverglow muttered something about losing more warriors. That made sense. Why would they charge in when thunderclan was basically spitting in their face? Of course they would lose more warriors. It would cause war after war, and kill every cat. Soon effecting the rest of the clans. That would be terrible. Well, the other clans could rot in the Darkforest- but he didn´t wanna lose any more clanmates.
¨Dawnstar, if you mind. I say we wait. Wait for thunderclan to calm down or at least be overflowing with weak warriors. See, since the babies were brave enough to steal prey. Of course they ´ re for us to planning to attack. Maybe that ´ s what they wanted all along. To see more of our warriors die. The solution? We just wait it out. Attack when the time feels right. Not to say your wrong, or my way is better. Its just that we might take some warriors from Thunderclan. Wait a moon or so after the gathering. See how scrawny warriors or apprentices are there at the gathering. If we don´t wanna take chances, we wait next gathering.¨ He called out to dawnstar. Hoping she really was taking thoughts.
(Honestly i would have just raided thunderclan)

Re: The Shadowledge
Soon enough Mirehound heard the familiar large foot fall of her other littermate and turned just as Starrycrash bumped his head to hers. A moment that lingered for nothing longer than a second, finished off with a flash of gratitude. She already felt stronger with her kin beside her, knowing that whatever this darkness was inside of her, she would survive it. She was silent a moment, but ended in shaking her head. "I have to bury them." She owed that to Ivyleaf, at least, after how valiantly the she-cat had fought. Mirehound didn't need to keep looking to kno wher kin would understand.
Eyes on her pelt had her turning her blue gaze to Shadowfur. He seemed to be watching her, though whether it was him being guarded or her own exhaustion, Mirehound couldn't make out what he was thinking. She stared back at him, blue eyes blazing. As it usually did with her mentor, words swirled in a chaotic storm within her mind. None of them came to the tip of her tongue though, and instead dissipated into silence.
Near her was a kit though, who had come up. Were the queens not watching them?? And that particular one - that was Frostscreech's daughter, was it not? Sliding out a paw, Mirehound aimed to draw the kit over to her, if only to keep her out from under the paws of the warriors who would no doubt move to take the bodies away soon. "Frostscreech," she called, ear flicking towards the kit as if to signal the tom to come collect his offspring.
More opinions from lifted voices as Mirehound's attention was quickly brought back to the meeting. Sunsetthorn, her mate Branchfire. Havengaze. Most of what was said drew deep irritation from the shadow but she remained silent, knowing their leader well enough to deliver reprimands where needed.
Then, a rather surprising voice spoke up. Oliveglow's sister. Blue eyes turned to watch as she padded up, laying his claim on her brother's fallen body. She kept a neutral expression as she listened, silently acknowledging the pain she must be experiencing with a single flick of her ear. Losing a Clanmate was often something one could get over in time - a littermate was different. Mirehound didn't even want to entertain the idea of no longer having Starrycrash or Iciclestrike at her side. It wasn't a world she could picture.
However, she did not agree with burying them right away. What would she do if her kin were killed, giving Mirehound no chance to say goodbye? That thought was worse than the last, and something dark flashed in her gaze. "How is bringing them into the clearing for their Clan to mourn their sacrifice not honoring them?" A dangerous venom dripped from her word as the shadow fixated onto Grapevine. "Taking their territory is a start to reminding them that any lives they take from us will come at a price. " Forgotten was whatever pain her Clanmate must be experiencing. "If you truly believe that measly herbs and prey are all that your kin are worth, I hope you never touch mine when their time comes." And that was that.
For now Mirehound just tried to focus on what Dawnstar was saying, letting her gaze leave Grapevine and refocus on the leader. As there were many instances where she did not see eye to eye with their queen, this was not one of them. ShadowClan had done nothing to ThunderClan as of late, and she knew first paw how arrogant the ThunderClanners had been. For stars' sake, one of them had leapt with the intent to kill her - a lone warrior with three apprentices! A low growl rumbled in her throat as she remembered, blue eyes darkening at the mere memory. Cowards, the whole lot of them. For a Clan who preached the code, they sure were blind to the most important parts of it.
Just as much as any of them had, so too had Dawnstar been down in the trenches. Fighting alongside them. For the faults she had, that one was non-existent. If any cat loved a fight, it was their leader - and as she said, she had the scars to prove it. Her words were nothing but a warranted lecture for many in the Clan, reminding them of the very oath they had sworn. To protect and fight for not her, but ShadowClan. The Clan as a whole.
Silence held her tongue as Mirehound continued to watch the queen atop her perch. Something about the sight... stirred an unknown emotion in her chest. Longing? Desire? The shadow wasn't entirely certain as to what, only that it made her wary. Her eyes narrowed subtly in thoughtfulness, the rest of her posture still upright and solid. Dawnstar never hid who she was, and yet was a master of control. She never showed weakness, she never bent to the expectations of others. No other cat in this entire forest held power over her head and... Mirehound coveted that. Ever since she had been eight moons old, trapped with no way out... she had wanted that. Power. The ability to make those who would harm her, her family, or ShadowClan pay with screams and blood. Flashes of memories that felt a lifetime away now had her letting out a breath she hadn't known herself to be holding.
Finally it seemed the moment was passing, and Dawnstar was speaking of waiting until after the next gathering before any moves were made. Information collection would be vital, as it would provide the ability to form a strategy of some sort. A Clanmate of hers nearby seemed to spout... some sort of nonsense about 'weak warriors' and 'babies'. "ThunderClan is already full of weak kits playing their paw as warriors," Mirehound muttered, frustration sparking in her gaze. What was this tom even saying? "Waiting until after the gathering is smart," she added with a glance to Dawnstar, "but letting their indiscretions go too long without justified punishment sends a message that ShadowClan has lost its edge." A sharp gaze to Owltree. "And I can assure you, that is far from the truth."
Outside of that, Mirehound had no other thoughts to add. So for now the black rosetted warrior returned her attention to the Shadowledge and awaited the continuation of the meeting.

Re: The Shadowledge
Darkfall
___________
Pulled out of his thoughts by a voice calling to him, Darkfall looked up and met Moonpaw’s gaze. She wanted to know if he was okay? Well, he guessed he did look kinda depressed which may have worried the younger cat. Feeling a little guilty he nodded and gave his apprentice a small smile. It didn’t reach his eyes. ”Yeah I’m just a little sore, no need to worry about me,” He told her, touching her shoulder with the tip of his tail.
Of course, this was only a half-truth. He was physically fine, but at the moment his emotions (or lack thereof) were a mess. ”If you’d like, you may sit with me,” he offered, before sternly adding ”But don’t cause any trouble like the last time,” with narrowed eyes. He hadn’t forgotten the last meeting when the two of them had nearly been punished for the she-cat’s outburst, and he didn’t particularly want a repeat of that incident.
Then Dawnstar spoke. She was asking the clan’s opinions on reparations for the unjust deaths that were caused and a chorus of voices rang out through the clearing. There were some who wanted more territory, some who agreed that they should have hunting rights, and others who were more against the idea. None of this interested him though. As much as he didn’t want to admit it, he believed that ThunderClan deserved a harsher punishment for taking the lives of his clanmates. Those cats didn’t need to die when all they were doing was defending their territory from invaders. ThunderClan was wrong. They were the monsters.
When Sunsetthorn and Heavengaze suggested they take what Sparrowstar had offered and leave it at that, Darkfall openly scoffed. They hadn’t been there. They didn’t see the blood, the bodies littering the forest floor, they didn’t hear the screeching and snarling, see the mutilations. They didn’t know what those damn squirrel lovers did to their beloved clanmates. He did though. He watched as Daypaw had been attacked by an older warrior, as his clanmates fell and didn’t rise again, he had faced off against the deputy no matter how brief and stared into the older tom’s eyes as he ordained that he was a monster for defending his home. He witnessed all of that because ThunderClan had stolen their prey, and it had made him angry. Very, very angry.
And it was that anger that he drew upon as he stepped forward and addressed the leader of the clan. His clan. Emotional suppression be damned. ”Dawnstar, if I may be so bold-” the young warrior began, dipping his head slightly ”-I believe that rolling over and accepting their terms would be an insult to our clanmates who have lost their lives defending our territory, no better than making dirt over their graves,” a wave of his tail indicating the still bodies behind him. Raising his chin, he swept his eyes around the clearing, seeking out the ones against revenge, and frowned at the ones who dared to suggest such an asinine opinion.
”I agree with the majority when I say that we should expand our borders and lay claim to some of their territory,” As he spoke he made sure that he was looking right at the battle-scared queen. ”I also agree that it may be wise to assess the situation and wait until after the gathering before making our move in order to gather intel and not make any unwarranted mistakes.” He didn’t care what the rest of the clan thought anymore, it took all he had just to keep himself from bristling out of anger. ”However, if we are met with opposition I believe it would be prudent of us to show them just what we as a clan are made of and have them pay blood with even more blood.” The more he spoke, the more the anger rose within him.
Those were his clanmates behind him. Dead. And for what? Absolutely nothing. They had done nothing wrong and had paid the ultimate price for nothing. In his eyes, every single one of those warriors that they had met on the battlefield deserved death for being impudent enough to harm some of his own. ”Those squirrel huggers and as it appears some of our own clan seem to have forgotten just who we are-” raising his voice a little bit as he turned to look at many of the other cats gathered around the Shadowledge ”-We are ShadowClan, and we are not weak. There isn’t a clan in this forest who is our equal and all those who dare to threaten us should be crushed under-paw with extreme prejudice. I am prepared to lay down my life if it means that our clan and families may get to live their own with fewer worries.”
That was right, the normally cool-headed tom was advocating for nothing short of a war should it come to that. He had something to protect. His brothers - Smolderingkit, Smokekit, and Vulturekit. His apprentice, Moonpaw. His friend, Larkfire. The cats he admired for one reason or another, Shadowfur, Dappledleaf, and Mirehound. And then there was the rest of the clan. Every single one of these cats owned a place in his heart, no matter how much he tried to shut them out, and he would do anything within his power to keep them all safe. To make sure that they saw another day and didn't die in vain like his deceased comrades.
’We are ShadowClan, and we are not weak’

Re: The Shadowledge
dappledleaf
{ @Undertaker }
Blue eyes had been glinting from inside the nursery, occasionally becoming thinner and wider with every Clanmate that spoke. She was oh so tired of these "warriors" who barely did their jobs. She gazed at her children, scattered among the clearing. Her eyes focused on a cinnamon splotched pelt, battered and unkempt. Dappledleaf pushed her way out of the nursery, which was more difficult today than it had been the previous. She padded across, sitting closer to the edge.
"Dawnstar," She started. "I say we take their land. How many cats did we lose? And how many do we have to use precious herbs on? My own son was a part of this, and if any of you fleabrains," She glared at the rest of the Clan, blue eyes narrowed, cold. It was like she dared them to speak out against her; they'd be met with claws if they did. "Decide not to agree, you are more than free to leave. We don't need soft kittypets during a time such as this. Sure, call me soft or biased, if you so dare, but ShadowClans worth is more important." She was furious today, watching so many of these fools speak up against something so easy to do.

Re: The Shadowledge
@Rose, @~*Hope*~
Moonkit turned to look at her siblings. "I think that she's saying we're gonna go n' take ThunderClan's stuff. Say, what is a ThunderClan?" Moonkit asked Fernkit, as her sister seemed to a lot more about everything than she did. She had heard the term being used many, many times, but could only imagine what it kight mean.
