Baykit, first born of the litter, wriggled around in the mossy nest, mewling loudly for their mother. The world was still dark and empty, as their eyes were not yet open, but they still managed to wiggle themselves over to the source of warmth which they assumed was mother. Paws flailing through the air, they managed to locate their mother's belly, and curled up beside it to begin suckling, effectively easing their hunger.

He struggled to tie the twine onto the feathers but he eventually finished his necklace. He put on the feather necklace and was very proud of his creation.
