Having a thick pelt was not easy to dry. The tom wandered the territory alone, trying to practice more on his hunting. He wasn’t necessarily trying to catch anything, but he was just focusing on his aim because he wasn’t a very good hunter. It made him exasperated that he couldn’t do anything right, and his mentor would constantly tell him that practice makes perfect, but the tom was stubborn and impatient. If he couldn’t get it on the first try, what was the point of getting anywhere at all? Then again, Ploverpaw was probably a terrible hunter because he was horrible at paying attention. He got distracted too easily; an example being now as the tom rather go in circles each time his paw left prints below him. He was quite fascinated by it greatly.
Breezepaw leapt over Ploverpaw out of nowhere, but quickly screeching to a stop after realizing Ploverpaw was there. "Hey, Ploverpaw! How are you? Are you trying to hunt? Seemed like it!"

Thorn had been chased out of the outskirts of Thunderclan and Shadowclan's border by the some Thunderclan patrol. So now he was stuck deep in the forest. He prodded on, tail swishing in anger. He knew he'd get stopped any time now by a Shadowclan patrol, and most likely attacked like before. He bore the mark of the Thunderclan cat's claws on his shoulder. Great, as if he wasn't already ragged enough.

Thorn was growing exhausted and hungry. He determined he should just go along and hunt. It wouldn't matter anyways, the cunning and prideful cats of this clan could tear him to shreds even if he was in better shape by their sheer numbers.

Thorn dropped into a low crouch and followed the sent of a mouse. He treaded lightly on the grass, trying not to alert the mouse. In the back of his mind he gnawed on a worry- it was only a matter of time before the warriors of this clan would find him.
Breezepaw was nearby, following the same mouse scent. He wasn't hard to see, considering his tail was sticking upward.

Which wasn’t unusual for how sweet natured she could be. Albeit, most times her natural kindness was easy to take advantage of since she had a peculiar sense of naivety of a small kit, curious and observant all the same. She made footprints in the snow, a light breeze ruffled her fur up the wrong way and she refused to succumb to the shiver. Dandelionglow thought it was the perfect time to hunt. She wasn’t very good at it, especially not in these weather conditions, but she would try. Her ears flicked casually, snowflakes dropping from them.

She padded slowly through the snow, her jaws parted when the scent of something familiar wafted into her nose, but since she wasn’t all that great at hunting, she kinda had a hard time distinguishing the scents of different prey. It was really hard for her and she didn’t know why. With the snow, it didn’t make it all the better. So, when she assumed she smell mice, she recklessly powered through to try and clamp her jaws around the critter, but ended up missing the killing blow. She almost cried out in frustration. So many cats made hunting seem like a no big deal but it was certainly a big deal for this beaming ray of sunshine. And, that mouse she thought it was? It wasn’t even a mouse.
Breezepaw landed on his back right next to Dandelionglow out of nowhere. It seemed like he was trying to get up a tree. Breezepaw spotted Dandelionglow and jumped up, a nervous look clear in his eyes. Breezepaw backed away a bit.

A white and black blur ran by Thorn, chasing a Shadowclan apprentice who was holding a mouse in their jaws. The white and black tom easily caught up with the apprentice, and snatched the mouse away. "Stealing is no way to hunt, you Fox-heart." snapped the tom, holding the mouse by its tail.
