What cat breeds are allowed?
Hi {again}! So, when I'm making orders for my character shop, I always search up cat breeds. The thing is though, I don't know which cat breeds are allowed here on WCO. I don't want to end up making a character with a breed that isn't allowed and then having to end up making a whole new character.
I know for a fact Maine Coons are definetly allowed in WCO, because they're the state cat in Maine.

I think the ones that are able to survive in the wild are ok. Persian, Snowshoe and Laperm, are all rare/expensive, so if your cat is a purebred, then they or their parents probably escaped from breeders, because there aren't typically purebred/rare cats in the wild. But other than any of that, all cat breeds that are domestic and common in North America are good ^^

adding onto that, if you have any doubts about whether or not a species is allowed I'd say message a staff member. It's def the quickest way to get a correct answer.

Re: What cat breeds are allowed?
Not every breed is open to roleplay as. Keeping in mind that Clan cats, unless directly of a kittypet background, are always going to be mixed, certain breeds are frowned upon. For instance, exotic hybrids such as savannah cats are not permitted. And while a sphynx can definitely fly as a kittypet, they absolutely cannot survive in the wild for very long at all due to the massive amount of care they require. As Grimm suggested, if you have inquiries about specific breeds, you're more than welcome to crash through staff's windows and ask hehehe @ ~Fierce~
