"Moscow. I have a plane ticket back to New York, so I assume you been following me since New York." she shrugged. "I'm also assuming you should be in school." she chuckled, humorlessly. "I have to be on the plane before Anton finds out where I'm headed." the train was about to stop in Moscow. She stood, and pulled her hood over head and smiled. "Perhaps I could get you a ticket back as well, if you want." she started walking towards the exit of the train. "Or, you could buy your own ticket."

The man stood too, putting on his helmet. A plane ticket would be appreciated. he said through the voice changer in the helmet. He checked his belt for the metal detector scrambler (obviously stolen) and found it right where he'd left it. He braced himself with the seat as the train lurched to a stop. Alright. Where to now, Russian hero girl? he asked. Oh, and how'd you know I was in school? he said.

She nodded to the steps. "That way. I have a driver waiting for me." she started to climb the stairs, making sure her companion was following. "And how I knew you were still in school? It's because I can tell by how you act." she exited the station and headed for a black, sleek car. "Get in, before I decide to leave you stranded in Moscow." she readjusted her bag and opened the file, just to distract her.

The man climbed the steps alongside Anastasia. Oh wow, I guess I need to stop acting so covky then, huh? Could you guess my major too just by how I acted? he joked with an eyeroll. His hand went to his belt again, feeling for anything missing. Everything was there, of course, he'd only done that out of habit. He saw the car and got in quickly, clicking the seatbelt into place just as swift.

She barely nodded, not paying attention anymore. In the corner of her eye, she spotted a note, along with a baby picture. In the picture was her mother, and her in their house in New York. This had been so long ago, she had almost forgotten. As recent years, her mother had gone missing with no trace. Wherever she was, Anastasia hoped that she was watching, and proud. "I'm so sorry, Mother..." she mumbled under her breath.

The boy didn't feel like he fit into this moment. He looked out the window awkwardly. He wanted to avoid looking anywhere near the Russian girl so he could stay the least amount of embarrassed as possible.

The Russian looked up from the photo, then gazed at the note, in her own mother's handwriting. She remembered word for word. It said: Анастасия, меня несколько месяцев не будет дома. Дорогая, я люблю тебя. Позаботься о своем брате ... С любовью, мама (Translation: Anastasia, I will not be home for several months. I love you, darling. Take care of your brother...Love, Mother)

The blonde continued looking out the window. He honestly couldn't tell if after the flight they'd even ever talk to each other. He blew on the window and traced a few geometric lines in the fog before it faded away. He thought about all the work he'd missed in school, the possibility of multiple writing assignments and reports looming in his mind. He flinched at the thought of doing that on top of trying to work on the novella he had to finish by the end of the year.
