Nightgaze smiled and also started laughing "Wow Sparrow you need to work on your come backs!" she snickered teasingly.

She had noticed the other branching off but didn't think much on it since he was able to do what he wanted, she couldn't say the same for her. Leafpaw had been sniffing around along with roaming blue eyes around for any signs of prey life. The first glance she'd get of one she was going to snag it like they were out of style, couldn't escape her if she was fast enough. Just as she was possibly following a trail of what she was assuming a mouse, she decided to glance up at one of the two. Well it looked like she wasn't going to catch her first prey on her own if the look Alderstep sent said anything about that. She looked over silently to what he was signaling and noticed the fat bird, oh that looked like a good nights meal right there they had to get it. Taking his note she moved slowly in a crouch already and moved to the left of the grouse, she liked the idea of surrounding this prey. The apprentice hoped they caught this thing because if they didn't she was going to be petty for a while, how does one not get caught when surrounded by predators?! Yeah, this would turn into a petty moment for her if they didn't snag this thing and bring it back to camp. For now she waited for the moment that one of them would spring for it, or maybe all of them she wasn't who would go for the shot first. She glanced over to Yarrowcrest and took a page from him and slowly inched forward, maybe if they could angle it towards the deputy he could get it.

sparrowfur was never really good at teasing, and her insults were certainly lacking. she didnt mind too much, at least until she was face to face with someone she was trying to intimidate. thank starclan she didnt embarrass herself like that often..

Drizzlecloud had noticed that the herb storage had been running out of cobwebs lately, and those were fairly easy to find, so she went on her own little journey to find some. After clambering up a low-hanging tree, she dug her claws into the tree bark on the branch below her while she lifted one paw to gather up a fairly large cobweb on her paw. She wrapped the cobweb around her paw repeatedly before she lowered her paw to her mouth, carefully pulling the cobwebs off of her paw to instead have them dangling from her jaws. Pleased with her little scavenge, she took her findings back to her clan.

sparrowfur could feel her own laughter start to bubble up, she almost couldnt help it.

Rateye had simply been walking when he saw this. "Please focus on your patrol, not on making each other laugh. Although if either of you need something to do I haven't been in a patrol for a while... maybe I could join your patrol?"

Roosterflame padded into the forest, his ears flicked back and his tail not sticking straight up like it usually did. He was feeling very out of the loop, and it was bothering him. The tom who once had been a Keeper now felt like an outsider in his own clan. He’d rejoined, yet he’d failed to reconnect with his friends, and he hadn’t been called to patrol for an extended amount of time.
Still, He thought, I must make myself useful.
He dropped low to the ground as a sudden noise rose from the undergrowth. Shuffling. Must mean a ground feeder like a mouse or a squirrel was near.
He crept forward towards the noise, flattening himself against the ground as far as he’d go. When he got a peek through, he saw that a chipmunk was the creator of the noise. Perfect.
He made no noise. Silent as Death itself he pounced on the unassuming creature and ended its life with a quick, graceful motion. It was like a dance, a dance between Life and Death.
He thanked StarClan for the prey, even though he was doubting their existence more than ever now. But, just in case, he wanted to be on the Good Place’s good side.
He buried the chipmunk and marked it with a twig, a flag telling him where his cache was.
He turned back for the woods, all thoughts of alienation forgotten in his eagerness for the hunt.

Appledusk walked out of the camp side by side with Mistberry. They were chitchatting when they ran into roosterflame.

As they crashed into roosterflame Mistberry meowed. "I'm sorry are you okay?"
