Mulberrykit followed eagerly. She didn't care if it was just a dead leaf; someday, she'd be hunting mice! "O.k.!" Once in front of the pile the she cat stopped, tilting her head to one side. "But how do I catch it? Because if it was real prey it'd run away from me!" Mulberrykit dropped to the ground, trying to give a ferocious snarl. No prey will dare stand up to me!

"See how the leaves flutter to the ground? Sort of like a butterfly! Then you hop up and smack it really hard so it hits the ground." He crouched, then awkwardly hopped up and caught a leaf, slamming it to the ground as soon as his hind paws touched the ground.

"Oh, O.k.!" Mulberrykit stopped growling and lowered herself to the ground, and never took her eyes off a falling red leaf. Suddenly she jumped, claws outstretched, but the leaf smacked her face, and tangled up in it, she fell on her back. "Ow." She muttered, embarrassed. "I don't think it was supposed to go like that..."
