But at the same time, if he did talk to him, he could possibly find he was worse than he thought. But then again, Singe had managed to take over a whole clan and rule for a moon or two. That was something that couldn't be ignored. When others looked at Singe, they probably thought of him as a weak coward. Hades certainly did. But the more he thought about it, the more he realised that perhaps Singe did deserve a bit of credit. He had accomplished quite a feat. Now the fighter's thought had changed a bit, and left him quite curious. Should he try and start a conversation with the savannah? Yes. Why not.
With that, Hades rose to his large paws and started padding over to Singe. "Goodmorning Singe, how are you?" the egyptian mau asked casually, sitting himself down a safe distance from the other cat. Really he couldn't care less how Singe was doing, but he didn't want to just barge in rudely and bombard him in questions.
The Savannah was about to head back if aging, not wanting to be something that cats were just staring at. The tom across the way had t been the first cat to just sit and stare. The Tim cat found it sort of creepy, and disturbing that cats felt the need to sit there and stare at their peers. Grumbling softly to himself, he changed his paws and began making his way toward the entrance. Out of the corner of his cold yellow hues, he saw movement, the cat who had been watching him was approaching. Not really in a mood to talk with a cat who had just moments ago, been sitting staring at him, he quickened his pace, but wasn't fast enoygh. The other tom cat caught up to him, much to Skbge's remorse. "Greetings." He meowed shortly, his head giving a curt nod. He had never met this tom and was ready to ask how he knew his name, but then, he was sure word had gotten out about what had gone down in the Clans and how he was the only one left. "Is there something you need from me?" He questioned, his voice tense and short.

Tundra wasn't nosy cat. She didn't listen to gossip, she didn't barge her way into the conversations of other cats. She stayed by herself, minding her own business. The fluffy fighter wasn't intent on knowing the name of every cat in the Syndicate. Whilst she may be a very cautious cat, and one that was scared of the majority of the cats in the Syndicate, it didn't mean she wasn't confident that she would be able to beat half the cats in the Syndicate. Tundra only cared to know the names of the cats that might pose as a real threat to her.
The she-cat wasn't normally a confident cat in many areas, but there was always going to be an exception when it came to fighting.

The fighter literally jumped as she heard a unfamiliar voice interrupt her thoughts. Looking up in fright, Tundra say a brown tom. He wasn't looking at her. The she-cat found that a little strange. Most cats looked at others when they were talking, but it appeared this tom didn't. Tundra personally, preferred not to either, but she didn't want to appear rude so she made eye contact. "Hello," Tundra replied slowly, staring at the tom with not much of an expression. Normally Tundra would looked rather scared when talking to others, but perhaps that was only because they stared so intently at her. As if they were going to make her their next meal. It always sent shivers down her spine.
But there appeared to be something different about this tom. She had never noticed him before and he wasn't looking intently at her. It made her feel more comfortable, being in the presence of another. "Um, how are you?" Tundra asked awkwardly. That was another thing, Tundra was always an awkward bundle of fur when it came to socialising. She never knew what to say. From the day she had joined the Dusk Syndicate, she had always appeared awkward and out of place. Growing into a skilled fighter, Tundra had earned a bit of respect, but she was always still going to be that awkward cat standing in the corner.
Stupid Tundra! Tundra scolded in her mind. You didn't even ask what his name wait! Ugh, idiot, the siberian thought.
Although Tundra made no move to introduce herself.

Living in the Syndicate for most of his life, Arrow had learned the rules here. Keeping his head down and avoiding eye contact with hostiles was always the number one rule. For him, at least. For everyone else? Perhaps it was something else, but Arrow's rules were different. He kept out of everyone else's way and he stayed safe. That was the most important thing to him. Staying as safe as he possibly could without getting his throat slit or worse, being kept alive as a plaything. He'd seen it happen before. And he was constantly keeping his eyes open to make sure that it would never, ever happen to him. As long as he kept his head down?
He would be safe. Safety was always the most important thing to Arrow. Keeping himself out of harm's way. The she cat's voice came as somewhat of a surprise to him, and he glanced up at her as though he half expected her to go ahead and kill him. He wasn't the type of cat who liked to be caught off guard. Some took it as a challenge-- but Arrow? Definitely, definitely not. In fact, he absolutely hated it. For whatever reason, being caught off guard was his definition of the most horrifying thing... next to some of the things he had seen while living in the Syndicate. Arrow sometimes wondered if this was really the type of life that he wanted to live.
He met her gaze-- another one of Arrow's rules was not to show fear. Ever. He would never, ever show that he was afraid of another cat...the type of power that it gave them over him, well...it just wasn't worth it to the fighter. "Uh...hi?" His words sounded somewhat confused, as though he wasn't quite sure what he should be saying. An awkward silence followed afterwards before the tom heard her voice again. Confused at the words she spoke next, Arrow cocked his head to the side. That was an awkward thing to say...considering the two didn't even know each other yet. He didn't so much as know her name, and she was asking how he was? The tom licked his maw, glancing at her with a puzzled expression in his eyes before he shrugged. "Uh, I'm doing fine, I guess. And you?" He asked, managing to give her a hint of a smile.
That wasn't really Arrow's strong suit. Smiling, laughing, contact...anything like that was always incredibly uncomfortable for the handsome brown tom. He was used to staying away from cats that might hurt him, and while Tundra didn't look like she meant him any harm-- or would mean him any harm-- he was still cautious. It was just part of his nature, like it was to protect himself or to stay away from the hostile cats. All of that was in his nature. It had been engraved into it ever since he was a young kit, and he was careful to keep it that way. "Uh...I'm Arrow, by the way. Guess I should have-- introduced myself earlier. I-- I don't mean to, umm...make you feel uncomfortable, but who are you? I don't believe we've met before." Arrow's hues were inquisitive, not threatening. He was always careful to make other cats feel the way he would like to feel around them. Or at least, he tried to-- without letting them feel too attached to him.

She knew the basics about most Dusk Syndicate cats, but Lilith's name was just one of the few that made it around the camp. "Lilith," she paused, her voice poisonous with the name, but settling as she continued. "The only reasons I'd ever die are limited to three; one, you decide to poison me. Two, I die of old age, oorrrr three, I die from irritation from one of these annoying cats," Blade paused again, her hues dancing with challenge. "Like from your lover, Onyx," Blade's voice got high pitched with each following word, "The Syndicate's big bad kitty" her voice lowered into a serious manner once more, "is a joke. I'd probably die by his annoying personality before anything else had the chance to kill me," Blade rolled her amber hues, her paw raising to her alabaster chest, clearly gesturing to herself. Her voice becoming very mocking, "Dark Forest have mercy on my soul, I won't ever have to make him cry," A small snicker left her body afterwards as her paw lowered to the ground and she awaited Lilith's answer. She didn't know Lilith's views on Onyx anymore as there was no reason for Blade to continue to dip in on information about a cat that hasn't been targeted. So far the she-cat was merely fun to mess with. Blade could tell she was trying to offend her, or something along the lines, but the grey she-cat couldn't be offended. Not until she was alone, basking in her thoughts as her condition took over her body. For now, she was okay.
"...Excuse me?" Lilith scoffed, her eyes narrowing as she lashed her tail, bright blue gaze almost freezing over with a cold look. She'd question why the molly knew her name already, but she'd assumed that some cats did more spying than actual work around here- going around and sticking your nose into other cats' business. "Onyx was somebody who got me out of a pretty rough time- I'd ask if you even knew who my former mate was, but he was even more of a snake then you seem to be. I'm better off with him than with that furball." She hissed, fur bristling as she spat. She was never a nice cat- she wasn't known for being as sweet as the rest of the healers she shared her den with. The only reason for this was simply for survival, so she wouldn't be cast out or killed by the cats who led this terrible place. She had always been forced to do things that she never would've done if not for the situation- she'd poisoned, she'd saved- it wasn't a life that she wanted to live, but a life she had to live instead. Even if Onyx would leave for long periods of time or even turn cold, she kept having nightmares- she couldn't have another Bleddyn, not again.

Blade snickered again, clearly enjoying the fact that she was getting under Lilith's fur. From all the rumors she'd heard, she wasn't expecting Lilith to protect Onyx. Was it really worth it in the end? Onyx seemed to have his eyes set on other cats and with his own priorities over his family. Don't think Blade hadn't been watching the fool. She knew there was a battle between the two to come, but she couldn't predict when or where, all she knew was Onyx was going to meet his match. A cat that didn't give up for her pain tolerance was higher than most and her battle skills are well known in the underground world of murders. Blade wasn't a cat to reckon with, but that was for individuals to learn themselves. Unlike the majority of cats here, she liked lying low and surprising cats when her time to shine comes. "Oh sweetie, please," amused lingered in her voice, her amber hues matching the emotion. "Don't defend a feline that isn't worth it. Tell me, do you really think Onyx is worth all this pain you're clearly going through? I can read you like an open book. You're mean... well you try to act mean because you have pinned up anger from these relationships. Is he really the cat you want to be stuck with for the rest of your life? Is he really the cat that you hoped for? I don't think so, after his disappearance, he seemed to soften up, seemed to lose that solid personality you might've been relying on. Tell me sweetie, there's nothing to hide, I'll learn about it anyways." Blade was rising to her paws now, her tail tip twitching with thought and curiosity. She slowly began to move around Lilith, keeping a comfortable distance between the two. Her amber hues never wavering from Lilith's body, reading her body language, ready to dodge a blow if Lilith so happened to throw a paw. "You can tell me, it's not like you're going to be targeted-" Blade's ears pricked at the realization for what she said. In her head, she meant to say it, to draw out Lilith's curiosity, to keep her talking, perhaps to break her down. Blade loved giving hints and driving cats insane. She loved keeping them on their toes, making them want to know more about her while she secretly learned more about them. Sometimes it worked, other times it didn't, it really depended on the cat. Swiftly as she moved, she continued on, "I mean... you can trust me, you need a friend. I can be that friend. Perhaps letting your angry thoughts out to me will relieve some of that stress you're feeling. Tell me I'm wrong," she finished, a challenge in her gaze.

[open post]

Ebony's maw stretched in a yawn as she padded into the clearing. Her head was held low between her shoulders as she slunk through the muck and snow that still spotted the clearing, making her way slowly to her stump where she typically groomed in the winter months. Her eyes were cracked at the bright sun, bright blue and olive. She wasn't really a day cat, she much more preferred the nights, which was what she was returning from: her nightly training and patrol. Unfortunately she hadn't found any kittypets to toy with, but she had managed to beat out her lingering saltiness towards Tobias who she had unfortunately crossed paths with the day before. Her thick black pelt shone with a red tint in the morning's bright sun. The sun was much warmer against her fur, a sure sign that green-leaf was well on its way. Not that she cared, finding food wasn't her worry, plus she had no preference of season. if anything she was more attached to leaf-bare because of it's hollow state. It made the forest more blank and comforting to the reserved feline. The warmer months were always filled with the scuttling of other creatures. The dark molly began her grooming routine, beginning with a back leg and hip, stretched out on the old tree stump.

Lilith was taken aback by how much Blade seemed to know about her life- it was almost like she was being watched from afar, like the other molly was trained to know everything about everyone. She didn't have any idea that the gray-and white she-cat was an assassin in secret, that she killed under the guide of other cats. "How do you know about all this?" The Siberian cat hissed under her breath, her eyes narrowed. She didn't understand why she'd known so much about her and her mate, and it was almost as if her thoughts were being read, like she was under this cat's control- yet something willed her to stay. "He's better than Bleddyn, you know! When he left, he came back- all that cat ever did was use me. He corrupted our kits!" And I've neglected every single one of mine. "Our kits- me and Onyx's- they're trainee-aged now- if I leave him, who's going to end up being their parent when they need someone around who isn't... me? Who's going to help me raise-" She stopped immediately, shaking her head as she neglected to finish the sentence. Who's going to help me raise our last litter?
"Without Onyx, I don't have anybody else- and I can't function without that crutch yet." She sighed, shaking her head quietly as she talked, her bright blue eyes shining with worry as she thought about everything that could happen to her. She wouldn't be protected from her dreams anymore.

Blade had no idea who this 'Bleddyn' feline was, but she acted as though she did, casually touching the tip of her gray tail along Lillith's pelt as she padded slowly around the she-cat. "It's sort of my job to know things. We can play a game sometime. You point to a cat and I list things I know about them," she chuckled softly before allow Lillith to continue. Her amber gaze seemed to soften momentarily, but harden back up into nothing but an inquiring stare. Something that was viewed the most upon gazing at this feline. Blade continued to listen, soaking up the information, analyzing it mentally and storing it in a mental file for later use. Hmmm. The noise left the feline without wavering. Her ears had perked momentarily towards Lillith, catching the unfinished statement, but she let it slide. Now wasn't the time to press into Lillith's thoughts, not when the she-cat was talking openly about herself. "Oh sweetie, you're stronger than this. What had you done before Bleddyn came along? You must've managed just fine. I can see you're fighting your own demons, but trust me, it's not worth sharing them with a feline who seems to be... unreliable... at times," Blade's tail tip was now constantly running across Lillith's pelt. The slender she-cat paused her circling to stand beside Lillith, facing the same direction as her as she thought out her next few words. At this time, Blade didn't touch or look at the other she-cat, just stood. "Kits will be corrupted based on their surroundings so it couldn't be all your former lover's fault. If they were meant to be corrupted, this world would've found a way. Many things happen here and many of those things end up making cats bad. Like they feel all high and mighty. Onyx is no exception," she paused, giving her a side-glance. "His past is too complex. There isn't time in this world to decipher why he acts the way he does, but that's how everything was meant to be," Blade paused for a moment, turning her gaze to the clearing. A small sigh released from her body as her tail tip twitched behind her. "Lillith, I don't think you've given yourself the time to figure out where you need to be. From what I've learned about you... you rely too much on other cats. I believe it's time to break this habit. I believe it's time you gave yourself your own time to enjoy life, to stop being stressed, to worry about healing," Blade looked back at Lillith now, her amber gaze was darker than normal. It was obvious there was a lot on Blade's mind at that moment. "Tell you what. Why don't I help you? I don't offer twice, so think wisely about this decision," Blade's brow raised in curiosity to her answer. This was the moment Blade would know if Lillith would take a chance. If this feline was willing enough to learn to get over her demons on her own... or with a little help. Blade didn't offer her friendship twice so if the answer was no, Blade would simply move on to the next cat, or perhaps pester Lillith here and there.

Default Re: Dusk Syndicate Clearing

A snowy white feline strutted into the clearing with the utmost confidence plastered onto her face. Every cat she passed, a charming smile was threw. Her head was up with pride, and once she glanced in the back of her to make sure her little minion was following. Vixie slunk behind, but continued to walk with the utmost confidence and dignity that she had left. She honestly wished someone would save her from the misery of being wrapped in the claws of Angelica.

Angelica...the name was venomous, yet desirable. It truly did not fit the white demon at all. If anything did fit the snowy white cat, it would be Satan, Luci, short for Lucifer, She-devil, anything along those lines would fit. However, Angelica was oblivious to how Vixie felt towards her. She knew, or she didn’t care. The white she-cat had other problems to attend to. She did not have time to cater to a peasant’s feelings. They were undesirable. ‘’Vixie.’’ Her voice was sweet, something like maple sap from a tree. It was light and mellow, a true ring to the ears.

Upon hearing her name, Vixie picked up her pace until she was trotting alongside Angelica. Instead of saying anything, the other white she-cat looked at her ‘’friend’’. Angelica continued, ‘’Have you heard from Syrup lately?’’

‘’I have not.’’

‘’I heard she had the kits. Poor molly, giving her love away to a tom that will never want her.’’ Angelica snickered. ‘’Although she should had seen it coming. After all, it was bound to happen that he was going to leave. Wouldn’t you agree?’’

‘’Of course,’’ Vixie mewed quietly, her eyes intently focused on the ground beneath them. She would loved to be somewhere else instead of following around Angelica as if she were some kittypet. ‘’I always agree with you.’’ Because I’m forced to…

‘’See? That’s a good girl. You know I’m always right.’’ The she-cat says, and she slows down her pace to look around. What type of trouble did she want to find herself in? She thought of her lover Danger, though it was more one-sided than anything. That did not persuade the she-cat to stop giving him affection. She vowed to win his heart someday, as she have one so many before, but he was a tough nut to crack! It wasn’t as easy as hunting for trout in the water. Danger tried everything in his power to avoid the snowy white cat because he knew what she wanted. He ran from her, and he hid from her. Angelica would always find him though. After all, there were so many places a tom could hide…

And, why ever would a tom want to run from such a sweet thing such as her? Sure, she had an attitude, and she got clingy sometimes, but that was just the fun of it. If Danger actually gave her a chance, she would had been had him wrapped around her paws. This she-cat did not enjoy the easy challenges, she loved a tom who would pay hard to get, yet flirt with her to keep interest. It was apart of the chase. Apart of the fun. Who doesn’t love fun?

As Angelica sat down on her haunches, she immediately began grooming her thick pelt to maintain a desired cleanliness for the males around her. Vixies watched the other cats, observing them and their motives. Anything to keep herself from looking at Angelica. The vain she-cat that seemed to have no heart. Vixie took a quick glance at her, hiding a grim expression. She then fluffed out her fur before turning back to the crowd to watch what they were doing. The cats of the Dusk Syndicate were unique in her eyes. They were all different. All expected to be evil. Most were not, the ones she met at least. Yet, as she continued to observe them, she wanted to study more of what made them so...lorn.

Angelica paid no heed, finishing up grooming her fur until it reached the whiteness she desired. She took a dirty look towards Vixie, rolling her eyes, before the she-cat rolled onto the ground, stretching her limbs around, and just being content being on her back for once.

@bad company
The two toms padded in and of course the clearing grew quieter as they recognized the ebony tom. He was with a bengal, a rather stunning looking tom, with green eyes that look so unreal. The other was none other than Onyx. They talked as they padded in, Onyx seemingly happy to see him, which was not normal. A few cats scattered here and there to move from their path, to not cause disruption between the two. "Wonderful to see you once again, Wheat. This place has not been the same without you." Onyx said as he addressed the tom.

"On the contrary, you have seemed to have made an impact here, Onyx." Wheat replied. He flashed a cocky smile at him, Onyx with one on his maw as well. "Do fill me in. What happened to Peach and that other guy, Renn?" he asked, curious. He didn't know peach well but he was the last to see Renn alive when he left, when Renn went out and never returned. A real tragedy, to some at least. He didn't really care, he just wanted to be filled in so he knew how to rise up once again. He was a muscular, brute-like tom. His fur was a stunning, light russet, Black stripes and darker russet almost leopard-like spots lined his pelt. His green eyes looked around, and of course they landed on the molly, who seemed oblivious who was walking in.

Onyx had seen her too, but he had a different look on his face. While Wheat was smiling, a cocky and flirty look going into his eyes, Onyx seemed annoyed. "That I will tell you later." Onyx replied in a bit of a slightly annoyed tone. They both came and stopped in front of her, and Onyx cleared his throat. "Enjoying yourself, there, Angelica?" he asked. He knew nearly everyone in the syndicate. When you are a guard, and the second most feared cat, stuck behind an emotionless cannibalistic cat, you start to pick up names here and there. Just so you can address them before you kill them. However that was not his intentions for now. He would just give her a growl, tell her to move, et cetera. Wheat had a different plan.

"Well, what a lovely name, but not just any lovely thing would be in the syndicate." he said, and Onyx turned to him, a confused look on his face. "Makes you a bit of a white demon doesn't it?" he asked, his green eyes blazing. Onyx watched, and he shook his head slightly. He should have known. Wheat was always the flirter, except when... Uh-Oh. Onyx forgot to mention he was mates with Wheat's enemy, Lilith. He would tell him later. For now, however, he was interested in seeing Angelica's reaction.

Vixie watched with curious eyes as the two toms made their entrance into the clearing. The white she-cat tilted her head, studying the black tom. She knew exactly who he was. Everyone did. He was one of the most feared cats, sticking behind Hannibal. Hannibal, that cat would always strike a nerve into her. Just thinking of his name made her shudder, which was why she enjoyed watching them. Studying their movements, their expressions, anything about them. She learned from visual appeal, and if she wanted to get rid of Angelica any time soon, she needed to learn what made these Dusk syndicate cat’s so...fearless?

Angelica, however was different. She had no idea that she was being addressed, as her eyes were closed. When she heard her name, and the voice that came along with it, she opened one eye, giving a look at Onyx before she opened both of her eyes and slowly rolled onto her stomach. A light smile graced her face, ‘’Onyx!’’ She exclaimed, getting up and fluffing her pelt to rid the debris. ‘’How, are you dear old friend? You never come and see me anymore. Especially with your mate being-’’ Her voice was cut off when she heard the other tom. She gave him a look, her eyes roaming his body. For a second her eyes opened in interest, before they clouded into a grey normal state. The snowy feline stood up to her paws.

‘’White demon, eh?’’ She purred, finding the name funny. It was a peculiar way to compliment her. She usually got gorgeous, stunning, marvelous--anything along those lines. The she-cat began to walk past the two toms, lightly grazing the large bengal with the tip of her white tail. ‘’I prefer a white angel, perhaps? You know, a heroine. I could never see myself being...evil, in a manner.’’ She purrs once more. Vixie watched the whole thing through, rolling her eyes. She let out a light giggle and tried to stop before Angelica could say anything.

‘’What’s so funny?’’ Angelica said, displeased at Vixie. Vixie looked down at her paws, a smile still on her face, but she didn’t look back up. Angelica’s hardened grey eyes stayed on the other white feline before she tenderly brought them back towards Onyx and his friend...what was his name? She knew Onyx wasn’t actually her friend. But, she knew he held a high rank. A rank she wished she had. Angelica only allowed herself to soak up to him, hoping that he would be able to help her in someway, but her plan never worked. Onyx was a loyal cat to his mate--what was her name again? Unlike Oynx, Angelica never paid any heed to actually remember names. The names were as useless as the cats that were given them. She took pride in her own name, however, and treasured it. Ah, yes, Lillith was her name.

‘’It’s nice of you to drop by though. On a stroll, I see?’’ Angelica smiled, something sweet and almost innocent. Though only few could catch that sinister of a smile--Vixie was one of them. A thing she studied about Angelica, but she kept her maw shut, and stared at Onyx, admiring his position and his behavior. She tilted her head to the side, allowing infinite amount of questions to ponder through about this black tom in front of her. Main question: How to become the most feared?

Whereas Angelica wasn’t really intimidated by Onyx. She found him funny to bother, but she also knew when she took it too far. With other cats it were different. The she-cat would never admit that she was truly scared of Hannibal--quite amazed with him too, but she feared that cat. Onyx was more different in a manner. He wasn’t friendly, but he also wasn’t that scary. Though he could be and frankly, Angelica didn’t want to find that out, so instead she stood in front of them, and rolled onto the grass again, stopping onto her back, and looking up at the bengal tom’s intriguing green eyes. ‘’So, what brings you toms here? I’m simply rolling in the grass, there’s nothing wrong with that, now is it Oynx?’’ She asked, her voice taking on a sweet and innocent turn. Albeit it was quite easy to tell that she was simply flirting a bit. A she-cat who usually rolled onto the grass, stretching their bodies slowly, caught a tom’s attention. Something she perfected whenever she wanted something.

Vixie only watched. She remained stoic because Angelica was in control of this situation. But, she truly wished she could be somewhere else, but as long as she was able to study Onyx, and wonder about him, then she was content.
