With the queens and elders staying behind to watch the kits he could continue on to the apprentices competition. Once they were deep in the territory Fallenstar stopped and turned around. The warriors were still tagging along, which amused the ebony tom. He told them where their competition was to be, he had expected them to meet him there. Of course not all his warriors were tagging along, but a good portion of them were.

"For the apprentices, you will be competing against each other in seeing who can catch the most prey. Let's say this. Minnow's are 1 point, Water voles 3, Water Shrew 2, and Carp will be 5 points. A few warriors will stay behind to watch." he explained, pointing his tail near the River Bend. "Most of your hunting will take place by the River. Keep it fair, and no stealing other's prey." he warned, giving the group a stern look.

"Let the hunting, BEGIN!"

Feel free to start posting. However, remember, your cat will not find anything until I roll your number, keep that in mind.

Ex: Mushroompaw crouched and began to crawl towards the River. Alert, sniffing the air to see if she could catch the scent of a Water Shrew or maybe even spot a Carp in the River.

HOW IT WORKS
Get an Even Number: Your cat catches a piece of prey [what prey it is will be determined by the randomized number generator as well.]
Get an Odd Number: Your cat doesn't catch a piece of prey.

carps were difficult enough to find, luckpaw knew, without having the stress of a clan-apprentice-wide competition on his shoulders. ah, whatever, he thought to himself. he better enjoy this carefree, competitive hunting 'race' while it lasted. it would be fun, hopefully. the worst that would happen was him not winning, which wasn't even that unfortunate. he crept into a small space beside the river, hoping that his prefix, 'luck', would make him lucky enough to spot a minnow or a water shrew, or perhaps even a carp, if he was fortunate enough. luckpaw knew not to get his hopes up, but he sniffed along the river, hoping to spot the spiky brown fur of a water vole or the silvery fins of a riverclan minnow.

A pebble rolled into the water, scaring away the fish you were hunting. Stay diligent!

Willowpaw flicked her tail as she took a few pawsteps before sniffing the air. She thought the whole thing was stupid, but then again a good competition was always fun... Though it seems like it would be difficult, and with her luck she bet that she would only get a stupid minnow. But maybe if she was able to distract another apprentice... no, she didn’t want to get kicked out of the event. Letting out a sigh, the black feline made her way to the river. The creatures that inhabited the water moved as quickly as they could. They made food movements. She glanced at the other cat that she spotted, and couldn’t help but smirk a bit when he caused a pebble to splash into the water. She peered into the water, tensing her muscles in case she was able to find a piece of prey swimming in the clear liquid.

KalePaw runs to the edge of the water and gets in position. She hopes to find something today which might make her become a warrior. splash! she catches something. it hits the ground with a thud......

Kalepaw continues to hunt in glory. She finds something else in the water she instantly flings her paw as something plops onto the ground

Creekpaw continued to walk stalking the prey trying to stay light on their feet, they flinched at any sound she stared at a tree hoping for anything before turning to the nearby stream and peering in

Vulturepaw stalked off into the territory. He eyed the prey nearby and let his eyes settle on some prey. He dropped into a low stalk and began padding towards the prey. @Starfall
