Re: Lark and Dusk Meet Again [PRIVATE]
@ Trouble
Larkstripe listened intently, sea-green gaze softened. Duskrunner had made mistakes—that was evident. But there was a part of him that truly hoped for peace for everyone involved.
“What happened between you and Lionstorm?” The ginger warrior asked gently, his tone lowered and non threatening.

Duskrunner regretted his decision. He doubted Sootstar would let him rejoin. "Well... I never really knew him formerly," he admitted. "I just..." he hesitated, trying to find the right words. "Didn't like his leadership, I suppose you could say." He left it at that. "Is Sootstar a good leader?" he asked, trying to change the subject.

Larkstripe seemed a little concerned by the warrior's dismissal, but humored the diversion anyway, "As far as I can tell, yes," he admitted, "We're still without a deputy though, and Sootstar's choice will be rather telling of his intentions." he reasoned.

Duskrunner rolled his eyes. Still no deputy? From what he understood, Sootstar had been leader for two Gatherings, at least from the ones he had watched. "I know a few cats who could be a good deputy," he mewed, purposely not mentioning who. "But leader's can be rather... Unpredictable."
