Cookie slowing walked toward the putrid smelling cat hiding behind the fake plant. “Hello there,” she said calmly. “I see you’re new here. I don’t like these humans anymore then you do, but they give us food. The older daughter of the Big Twolegs is nice, I like to go into her room and chill, I am kind of her cat.” Cookie’s eyes shone brightly, reflecting the harsh lights in the kitchen.

Theo's fur was on end, He stared at the she and depended on how he would respond "Hello back.." He'd stare for a short while before turning away " Why do they trap you here?" his voice was quite but soft.

“Well, they only let me out into the garden which is fenced in. But Rooster and Goldfish live next door in the other houses, so we have some friends, and they give us food,” Cookie said. She started to groom herself, hoping the smelly cat would too.

He looked away from the she cat but at the screen door in the kitchen. Then back to the she " I don't think you mentioned your name yet." Then he turned his head and tapped his nose on his own pelt only to realize who bad he smelled. Embarrassment passed threw his pelt making him feel hot.

He began to clean his pelt and thought of an excuse that was true " Before here i was at a place called the tree cutting place, there was a lot of oil and dirt to the point were me and the other cats got tired of cleaning our pelts because it'd get dirty in the next 10 minutes." He nibbled at a knot in his side then set is aside.

“Oh, my name is Cookie,” she said. She had quickly finished her own pelt so she just stared at the cat. “What’s your name?”

Cookie licked her paw, waiting for the dazed cat to respond.

Ack! Sorry for the late response I was without wifi very suddenly for a while)

Rooster hopped into his neighbors garden, gazing through the screen door. He made sure that whenever Cookies twolegs came by to duck and hide. They didn’t seem to want him over there for some reason but he was curious about Cookies new friend.

His head snapped to a gentle thud outside. His fur was on end and he looked back to Cookie "Umm, Might you possibly know anyone else that lives here as well? Or neighborly cats?" A shudder went threw his pelt remembering the ruthless cats at the tree cutting place. He leaned over to view out of the screen door.
