Simon, confused about why the eggs smell so bad, takes the pan off the stove. He scrapes them onto a plate and simply stares at them for a moment before he notices Aydan behind him. He turns around, a bit startled by her sudden appearance, and smiles.

Suddenly remembering his pitiful attempt at an edible breakfast, he positions himself in front of the plate that sits on the counter. "Mornin'," he says, slightly embarrassed by his extremely messy hair. He's mastered the art of sleeping, yet not the ability to wake up looking perfect.

Simon blinks. "So, uh, I tried to make you breakfast, but..." He floated to the side, revealing the eggs. "I have some apples in the fridge," he said, arms crossed, glaring at the eggs as if they had murdered someone.

She smiles at him before she reaches for the frying pan and dumps the grease into a little can she found in the garbage can. Then she washes her hands, smiling at him. "That was really sweet of you. But... Maybe you should leave the cooking to me, yes?" She laughs as she grabs a couple apples out of the fridge and she starts to chop them up into wedges before she starts to fry them until they're a light, caramelized golden color. She then adds sugar. "You allergic to cinnamon?" Aydan says before she looks at the eggs on the plate, and sees his murderous glare and giggles - those eggs are quite capable of killing someone(*ahem*, SiMoN, you dummy) if they were foolish enough to eat the half-cooked but burned eggs.

Simon sighed, sitting cross-legged in the air. He watched her turn the apple slices into something that looked - and smelled - insanely delicious. He told Aydan he wasn't allergic, and drifted over to look over her shoulder as she cooked. "How do you cook so well-?"

She looks at him and smiles before she sprinkles some cinnamon on it. Then she grabs some of the plates from a cupboard and puts the sugary, cinnamon-y, delicious-looking and -smelling apples. "Well, no one in my family was much of a cook and I got tired of microwave dinners so I started to learn to cook." She says with a shrug before she looks at him as she holds the plate out to him.

"We need to go shopping, though." She eats hers and pokes her head into the almost-empty fridge and frowns. "We have... almost nothing left." Then she grabs the half-filled gallon of milk and her little nose wrinkles and she frowns. "How old is this, Simon!?"

Her mouth drops open and she covers her face as she curses in the three langauges she knows - English, Indonesian, and a bit of Elvish. Then she takes it from him and places it in the garage can and glares at him before she bursts out laughing. "My God, Simon. You're so... so... clueless and innocent sometimes!"
