Roleplay of the Month (February 2019)

Roleplay of the Month is designed to feature the best roleplays of the Main Roleplay.

Please ensure you have read this thread thoroughly, as posts that do not coincide with the provided information will be deleted.

In an attempt to prevent users from only voting selectively, the system in which OTMs are decided has changed. You may suggest a roleplay, however the roleplay you nominate can not be suggested by another user. For example, if you suggest "A Mother's Tears", no one else can nominate that roleplay for the remainder of the month's nomination period.

At the end of the month, users can vote on the nominated roleplays and the winner will be determined by who has the most.

Nominations will run from February 1st to February 20th. On February 21st, users can vote on the nomination they like the best.
Please note this is a test run, and we may revert to the 'nominations only' method if it's apparent users are brigade voting (e.g. voting for a roleplay that has a lot of votes for only that reason.)

Things to keep in mind before nominating a roleplay:

• Roleplays do not need to have started this month, however they must have either concluded within the last two weeks of being nominated or are still running to date.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own roleplay, or advertise your roleplay to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule can not win an OTM for the month they broke the guideline.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the roleplay deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed.
  
  
• Be thorough in your evaluation of the relationship. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded.
  
  
• You may only nominate once, however you may change your nomination at any time provided nominations are still open. Keep in mind you can not change your suggestion to a roleplay that was nominated by someone else.
  
  
• You are only allotted one vote due to the poll system, so please use it wisely.

The winning roleplay will be featured on next month's Monthly Kudos page and receive an exclusive award.

Reason for nominating this roleplay [required]: I'm fond of apprentice/mentor roleplays, and it's adorable to see Newpaw get excited when Webcloud tells her they'll be exploring the territory, and how she tries to impress her mentor. Webcloud is a sweetheart to her, being encouraging to her while also educating her on Clan boundary restrictions (not that Webcloud is good at following them!)

Reason for nominating this roleplay [required]: I love how this started with Simplefeather randomly deciding to bother Sweetbreeze, and the reaction couldn't have been more saccharine. They seem like they're well on the way to a friendship, and I'm excited to see how this roleplay continues

Roleplay Title: The Plot Sickens

Reason for nominating this roleplay: This roleplay with Lion and Fawn feels so real. Reading it is really enjoyable and it makes me want to know what happens next. Really any interactions with these two is incapacitating and always gets me interested. This one in particular is pretty cute it shows that Lionstorm really cares about Fawnpaw. With Fawn being sick and scared to to to the quarantine zone with the other Clans. Their roleplay is both sad and cute an reading through it makes you feel their emotions and how the characters are displayed makes it so much more enjoyable. On top of that their replies are so vivid it almost way out standing there watching and walking through it with them.

Reason for nominating this roleplay [required] Just seeing Ringpaw interact with Eveningkit is heartwarming. It is especially heartwarming because Shinefang isn’t nearly as nice to the kits as Ringpaw is. In fact Ringpaw offers Eveningkit some prey now, I don’t mean hate to Shinefang but, Ringpaw is way more easy and loving towards kits than he is. Eveningkit is small and just amazing to see interact because,she is small and dosent know what to do with greencough (or Whitecough I don’t remember) and the fact the age is helpless and Ringpaw has a soft spot for kits gosh I don’t even know the right words. It is just amazing to see these cats interact.

Reason for nominating this roleplay: sus and dipper are skilled at conveying the two apprentice's emotions and the two's interactions are priceless. cedar and fawn seem like they might, in the future, become good friends and be there for each other. i love how, although they aren't very familiar with one another, can relate and understand each other. sus and dipper make the roleplay interesting to read and i can really grasp how the characters are feeling emotionally.

Reason for nominating this roleplay [required]: Watching the two characters interact is interesting. It's nice to see a good hunting rp aside from the normal catching prey and small talk. The discussion and blind support of the dark forest is unusual. It'll be interesting to see where this friendship leads as Brambleblaze continues to run down the path of the Dark Forest with Lambdream supporting the idea.
