Character of the Month (December 2020)

Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending around the the 21st of every month. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
  
  
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.

Why should this character be featured?: Cause he's Lionstorm, (Lol no rly) well, he's a well developed charrie, and a nice one too, we were ALL sad to see him step down as leader

Why should this character be featured?: I love this guy so much. The way that he's sometimes so caring but also so... murderous is awesome, I love the way his personality blends

Character Name: Twilightstar [ @Moonraven ]

Why should this character be featured?:
Twilightstar is currently the longest standing leader and such, there is a lot to do with her leadership which proves her to be an intriguing leadership. However, the reason why I believe that Twilightstar should be featured is through the way that Moony' manages to roleplay her apparent 'laziness' along with the actual struggles of having to keep up with the demands of leadership. While other cats enjoy the power and such, Twilightstar seems like she would just much rather spend time taking a nap and this contrasting perspective from a leader is undeniably unique. Not to mention the fact that when she does interact with clanmates, she's usually exasperated but has this soft side which is rarely seen but when it does show up you cannot help but let out a smile or a brief laugh. Reading Moony's Rp posts with Twi's becomes a game which you try to find the small cute moments, which always brings a smile to at least my face. Yet I cannot leave out the entire Twig joke which has become something I hold dear to my heart, and has taken great pleasure in mistyping Twi's name with. Twiglightstar has become less of a joke and more of a mild side part to Twi's character which is absolutely hilarious when it does appear now and then.

Why should this character be featured?:
Despite having never interacted with Flyfur I cannot help but notice her. She's a caring and clear figure within Riverclan who tries her damned best to keep control of all her babies. Despite her age she has an apparent activeness and attention in things that may be harder for an older cat. As well as knowing the emotional trauma attaching herself to a cat, she keep doing it because she believes that they are better than they often see themselves. The way Rain manages to roleplay Flyfur is absolutely beautiful and it brings a sort of grace and a smile to my face always. Flyfur always believes the best in every individual despite how many times she's been left alone. She may have been abandoned, may have kept on being abandoned but she'd never let that get to her and seems to never willing to abandon Riverclan and I admire her for that. Reading Flyfur's roleplay is just an eye-opener to what the sense of sticking with it through mud is and it is a true inspiration.

Why should this character be featured?: Spiderpaw always seems to be a little to happy. A character who I would want a book about. She just seems like a fun, and well made character

Why should this charrie be featured?: She's just... good and warm hearted. She has no idea how to mange crazy Radishpaw, and it makes her fun when she's shy and the other one is bouncy and crazy. I love rp'ing with her and she just always makes me smile.

Why should this charachter be featured?: This charrie is well buit. She is kind sweet caring and good with kits. I think the owner did great building her and rping her!!!

Why should this character be featured?: Freezehiss is just a big mouse-brain. He’s that one villain that’s just dumb, and makes you laugh. Although I haven’t roleplayed with him too much, he’s pretty good. His plan is to kill Dawnstar when he becomes deputy, and doesn’t have too much of a plan which I think is just hilarious. I have a soft spot for the dumbest cats, and he’s one of them.

Why should this character be featured?: Charred-paw is good bean.. the fact that he went from being abused my river-kit for being one of the strongest apps in riverclan. He is sweet and doesnt his scars hold him back. Charred-paw went from having the be protected by his peers to protecting them. Thats why I think he should be featured

Why should this character be featured?: Soot-star is my favorite charrie ... but he is strong and awesome. Soot-star is bundle of emotions and he really doesnt show them. But when he does have too their almost always positive. When he talks to lion-storm I can see there a click of love :>. Soot-star might get mad at times but he knows when he to rude and rough when he is mad. Soot-star is good nice guys and that's why I think he should be featured.

Why should this character be featured?: Deadpool is such a unique character, just starting with the way she talks. She is brilliant, but has no sense of grammar, which must make writing her so difficult. She cares deeply about her clanmates and very much loves them platonically, and her bond with her apprentice Beepaw is just adorably cute.

Why should this character be featured?: Echowind seemed to care deeply for her apprentice, but felt she was of no help with her apprentice’s emotional issues, she beat herself up for it, but never gave up on her apprentice and felt so guilty when she had to become a queen and quit training her apprentice.
