Purity and Chase's Neighborhood
Purity stretched as went through her home's cat door. She yawned as she began to move her reddish black paws to the back porch. She licked her paw and rubbed it over her ear as she looked at the bare trees around her. She licked her lips as she began to groom her white pelt. She then shook her beaded collar and looked around to see if anyone else was awake.

Chase sat on the roof above her, watching her. "Hallo," he meowed, jumping down. His tabby pelt shone and both his amber eyes were clear--the young tom was rarely ill. "How are you?" The kittypet's tail swished as he tilted his head to the left with a quick blink.

The young female looked up to the tom. She was new to the neighborhood, so she didn't know many cats. She sadly hadn't seen this tom. "What are you doing on my roof?" she asked tilting her head up at him. Her blue eyes looking him over. He looked like a fine tom to her, but she wasn't there to flirt. Purity blinked as she thought about these things.

The female laughed as he landed clumsily. "Nice to meet you as well, and I'm doing pretty good. I have a nice family now. I hated being in the shelter. It made me feel like I was unwanted," she sighed looking at the ground remembering those times. She then shook her head and smiled again trying to shake it off, "How are you?" she asked.
