Closed Albinism.

As a sort of last minute decision, I gave one of my future OCs albinism. Now, I've been looking into feline albinism and considering he's in RiverClan, I believe he could survive and still be useful. [Though he may have to retire early, but that's something I'll worry 'bout later.]

I was wondering if I should ask the leader, or another RiverClan high rank first though, because that seems to be what happens with other things that could disable or prevent a cat from carrying on normal activities.

Also, are there any rules on disabilities? Or is it just like; "If you're cat can't survive past kithood, don't do it." I don't plan on having anything major, I'm more so curious.

@Elder_Reintje If you are wondering what their path would look like as a warrior, I would definitely recommend reaching out to the Clans High Rank (in this case for RiverClan, marshall would be the person to reach out to). They can give you a better understanding of what would occur with your character should they be unable to perform their warrior duties.

As for other disabilities, some do often shorten the lifespan of cats - especially since the characters in Clans don't have access to regular medical care like house cats do. Therefor, most disabilities or diseases would more than not limit what the cat can and cannot do

@Elder_Reintje In the past, there have been multiple albino warriors, so I think most leaders allow it. However, I agree with tulle that you should perhaps reach out to marshall for this.
