Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 1 week, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
  
  
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.

Why should this character be featured?: Mouseclaw is such a great cat and GoldenDays roleplays him very well. Inside Windclan is very very battle hungry and a little grumpy towards younger cats and some of his clanmates, but when he talks to my Riverclan cat he's such a sweet heart. Also him getting upset at the gathering about the apprentices was kind of funny to me when he looked for Petunia to back him up.

Why should this character be featured?: Lotus to me is the best character in all of Windclan. He's loyalty to his clan shows in every roleplay. He is just such a great character and they roleplay him so well. I see a lot of potential in him and I love reading all the roleplays he's in, especially with ones with my Rabitpaw.

Why should this character be featured?: Their just so cute! The rper themselves are nice and polite, and RP very well seeing as they joined recently! There is just an all-around good person.

Why should this character be featured?: When she was introduced, she was the cutest, floofiest girl in WindClan. Now she continues to be that way! Every single thing about her stands out to me. The fact that Nyan has made so many great posts with her makes her stand out from other characters.

Why should this character be featured?: He's just such a lovely mate for Heather'Tail, and has been comforting her greatly after the Sky Glade battle. I love the little grudge he has with Twilight'Star after Heather was put on the patrol for the battle, and how he's a wonderful mother to their adopted kits

Why should this character be featured?: oh my god,Heathertail! This is one of the cats I least expected to not see here already. Heather is the definition of Queen,literally,it’s her rank. But Heathertail is so much more than just your. Average queen,she has character and the guilt she has over her scar and the aftermath of the battle skyglade is so nice and refreshing to read.

Why should this character be featured?: Leopard is so sweet,her quiet yet loud and chatty Personality was lovely to see! Her patrol with Moosedusk to skyglade was one of my favorite patrols ever. She is loyal to twilightstar and reading her reaction to My character not liking Twilight was hilarious,To be on honest I’m surprised why she hasn’t won.

Why should this character be featured?: OMG, why hasn't she won COTM yet?! Cinderpaw is so adorable, she loves her mother and uncles, and even Ravenclaw, her previous mentor and her mother's older brother, had been killed, she would fight to the death to avenge him. Even if she almost ran away from RiverClan with her mother and uncle Darkscar, there's nothing more than to see Cinderpaw as COTM for this year!

Why should this character be featured?: OMG Skystar is a great leader! She has led RiverClan into battle at the Firefly Cove so swiftly that it appears nothing can stop her from being defeated.

why should this character be featured: because during the time as ravenclaw was so busy darkscar was able to step up and train Cinderpaw he gives challenges THATS WHAT CINDERPAW NEEDED!!! darkscar is such a good trainer!!!!

Why should this character be featured?: Petuniafire is a sweet, but driven cat. She cares deeply for her family, or at least for her lost aunt. She is a skilled fighter and when motivated can win any battle! Reading about her struggling to get closure for the lose of her aunt is so moving. The fact that she can harbor so much anger without giving away her believes is compelling and interesting. Needless to say Bliss. has captivated me with this character without even a single line of dialogue.
